Title: Associate Director, Investor Sales

Job Summary
We are seeking an Associate Director of Investor Sales with a strong focus on emerging and developing markets. This is a client-facing role, engaging primarily with hedge funds and asset managers, where you will be responsible for originating and delivering strategic macro trade ideas — from generation through to execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of the Macro Sales strategy targeting UK Institutional clients, including hedge funds and asset managers, within Standard Chartered Bank’s (SCB) footprint to drive growth in SCB’s client revenues.
- Develop and maintain a strong partnership with Trading, Structuring, Research, Corporate & Institutional Coverage, Transaction Banking & other key stakeholders across the Bank.
- Appropriately deliver SCB’s capabilities to clients through face to face meetings, conferences, and calls to determine Financial Market needs, as applicable.
- Engage sales team locally and globally to increase key global account revenue.
- Deepen investor relationships and improve dialogue around market ideas with key clients through increased client contact.
- Identify and cultivate prospective accounts with the goal of growing the FX, interest rate and credit business.
- Provide product solutions in FX, rates, or credit, based on individual knowledge and competency.
- Emphasis on cross asset and cross border collaboration in order to maximize client service and returns.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in banking within client-facing roles.
- Direct, hands-on experience collaborating with institutional clients, including NBFIs, hedge funds, and asset managers.
- Appropriate educational background supporting the role.
- Practical expertise in Macro Sales offerings, including FX, Interest Rate, and Credit products.
- Excellent communication abilities with fluent command of English.
