Step into a high-impact role as an Associate Director in Middle Office Macro, where you will play a critical part in supporting FX Options (FXO) trading and sales activities while driving operational excellence across global markets.

This position offers the opportunity to become a subject matter expert in FXO products, working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance client experience, improve processes, and deliver strategic initiatives. You will operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with global exposure, contributing to innovation, efficiency, and strong risk management practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support to Trading and Sales, ensuring smooth execution of FXO activities
  • Act as a subject matter expert on FXO products, including lifecycle, risk, market data, and P&L
  • Manage trade lifecycle processes, query resolution, and timely escalation to minimise risk
  • Collaborate with global and regional teams to support a “follow-the-sun” operating model
  • Partner with Technology, COO, and project teams to deliver new products and transformation initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Front Office, Credit, Legal, Operations, and Product Control
  • Drive process improvements, standardisation, and operational efficiency across regions
  • Support business continuity planning and ensure resilience of operations
  • Engage with vendors and industry bodies to identify innovation and efficiency opportunities
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance client experience and enable new business growth
  • Ensure adherence to governance, risk frameworks, and regulatory requirements

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of FX Options (FXO) products and end-to-end trade lifecycle
  • Experience in middle office, operations, or macro-related functions within financial services
  • Proven ability to manage operational processes, resolve issues, and improve workflows
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across diverse teams
  • Experience working in a global, fast-paced environment with cross-regional collaboration
  • Knowledge of risk management, audit processes, and regulatory frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change, innovation, and process improvement
  • High attention to detail with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
