Job Summary

Currently we are looking for taleneted Associate Director Sustainability Marketing&Communications.
This role is for an integrated practitioner across marketing and communications, with previous experience on sustainability and/or sustainable finance. The role holder will be working with a diverse set of stakeholders across our business to support the development of our sustainability communications and marketing strategy, helping us to build brand equity and assist in managing and mitigating risks. The role holder will work across channels to develop sustainability content which builds awareness of our sustainability capabilities and offering across our market footprint This role will help ensure connectivity across the Corporate Affairs, Brand & Marketing (CABM), Strategy & Talent (S&T), Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) organisation, and Group Public & Regulatory Affairs (GPRA).

 

 

Key Responsibilities

•    Support the development of the Bank’s agenda and programming at sustainability-related events.
•    Support senior stakeholders in the lead up to, and post-key sustainability-related speaking events, including through drafting speaking notes, preparing social media content amplification and liaising with internal/external event management teams.

Sustainability Risk Management
•    Contribute to the evolution and execution of the Group’s reputational risk management process by supporting the delivery of the Sustainability Approvals Matrix, and related key messaging documentation. 
•    Oversee and review a high volume of diverse multi-channel, sustainability-related content created from across the Bank to ensure rightful and effective followership of the Sustainability Approvals Matrix process and the mitigation of greenwashing risk. 

CSO Support
•    Work closely with the Chief Sustainability Officer, managing their LinkedIn profile and broader digital channel presence to enhance their role as a leader in sustainability and sustainable finance, including through content development, copywriting, content scheduling, connection request management, social media strategy development and execution. 

People & Talent 
•    Support the development and enhancement of greenwashing risk mitigation skills across the CABM function through guidance on design and copywriting development. 
•    Deliver tailored social media training, with particular focus on LinkedIn, to a diverse set of stakeholders within the Chief Sustainability Officer organisation.

Sustainability Research and Thought Leadership
•    Support the development of sustainability research and thought leadership through project management, reviewing of research reports for risk mitigation, editorial copywriting and structuring, and overseeing design.
•    Develop and spearhead execution of communications and marketing campaigns to amplify sustainability thought leadership.
