Job Summary

FM eCommerce delivery team is responsible for cross-product pricing of derivatives within Standard Chartered. The team is driven to provide world class technology to support the bank’s Financial Markets business. As a Delivery Lead, you’ll be responsible for delivering technology solutions to financial markets globally. The role is based in London and working in a dynamic global team with other technologists, business analysts, project managers and business stakeholders across multiple locations.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Proven track record leading multi-discipline delivery teams on complex programmes and projects
  • Understand business requirements and translate into quality technology solutions
  • Pro-actively engage, manage and build strong relationships with both business and technology stakeholders 
  • Experience in leading agile delivery teams
  • Taking ownership of technology deliveries from high level requirement through development, testing and deployment
  • Identify risks and issues early, plan mitigating steps and communicate these to stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Work closely with business users, other project and programme managers and technology stakeholders to ensure all stakeholders are engaged and expectations managed
  • Provide on-going support to the technology teams as required e.g. authoring / reviewing test cases, closing out open issues / questions, managing change request process etc
     

Skills and Experience

  • Substantial technology delivery and management experience in the financial markets domain (minimum 10 years)
  • Derivatives knowledge from FX, Rates, Commodities and/or Credit encompassing trade life cycle, pricing, risk analytics and market data. Finance degree or certifications (FRM/CFA/PRM etc) or market and credit risk understanding a plus.
  • Quantative finance understanding, experience working with analytics libraries and pricing models.
  • Knowledge and previous experience of large-scale financial markets platforms such Sales Dealer and Pricing systems
  • Technical background beneficial, knowledge of programming and scripting languages, technologies, architectures, data stores, messaging
  • Agile and traditional project management methodology experience. Certifications such as Scrum Master, Product Owner or PMP a plus

  • EDUCATION     Finance degree or certifications (FRM/CFA/PRM etc) or market and credit risk understanding a plus.
