SC Ventures is Standard Chartered’s innovation, fintech investment and ventures arm. We were established to reinvent banking, as the significant technological disruptions to the industry was impacting its ability to serve clients and customers, in the ways they needed to be served.

We are building ecosystems around four high conviction themes: Online Economy & Lifestyle, SMEs & World Trade, Digital Assets, and Sustainability & Inclusion.
We are a global team of "Members" (excluding individual ventures), including dedicated colleagues from the Group's support functions, based in Singapore, Hong Kong, London, and the United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Facilitate business case development for early-stage quantum applications and marketplace initiatives, using design thinking and lean startup methodologies
- Operate as the CEO’s point person for project management, milestone tracking and executive communications (including press releases and LinkedIn engagement)
- Track key initiatives and ensure accountability across the organisation
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve efficiency
- Lead strategic people and culture initiatives
- Strengthening GTM performance through revenue enablement
Fundraising & Investor Relations
- Support preparation of investor materials, data rooms, and due diligence processes
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support fundraising narratives
- Manage investor communications and board reporting
Skills and Experience
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Drive cross functional execution of strategic priorities, ensuring coordination among product, data scientists, technology and business development teams.
- Serve as a connective tissue between product, engineering, sales, and operations
- Step into functional gaps as the company scales—whether that's leading a hiring sprint, managing a key partnership, or building internal processes
- Lead and implement customer driven solution development and agile iteration
External Engagement
- Represent the company in meetings with potential partners, customers, and stakeholders
- Build relationships within the banking technology and quantum computing ecosystems
- Support business development efforts for both the banking software and quantum marketplace offerings
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, investment banking, or a similar high-performance environment
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesise complex information and make data-driven recommendations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record of driving projects from concept to completion with minimal oversight
- Comfort with financial modelling, business planning, and investor-facing materials
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to build trust across diverse stakeholders
- Strong project management expertise to handle diverse, multi stakeholder, fast growth, environments
- Competence in lean startup and agile product management
- Experience in financial services, fintech, or enterprise software
- Familiarity with emerging technologies, particularly quantum computing or its applications in financial services
- Previous startup experience, ideally at seed or Series A stage
