  • Champion simplification, standardisation, and automation initiatives to enhance control efficiency and reduce operational risk.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of trading controls, using insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Product Owners, fostering a high-performance environment and developing their capabilities in product management and control frameworks.
  • Establish and maintain rigorous product governance standards, ensuring transparency and accountability in decision-making.
  • Ensure all control solutions comply fully with Group risk policies, regulatory requirements, and internal audit mandates.
  • Identify, escalate, and manage gaps or risks in control delivery, implementing corrective actions as necessary.

  • Demonstrated skills in product strategy development, roadmap planning, and agile product management, with an ability to drive complex product initiatives from concept through delivery.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of risk management principles and regulatory frameworks relevant to trading and market risk.
  • An extensive understanding of market products, trading processes, and associated operational workflows enabling an ability to anticipate risk and control impacts.
  • A strong commitment to process improvement, operational simplification, and automation initiatives to enhance control efficiency and reduce risk.
