Are you passionate about risk management, regulatory excellence, and driving meaningful change within Global Markets Operations? We're looking for a Director, Global Markets Regulatory Operations Business Risk Manager to help strengthen the risk and control environment across Regulatory Operations.
In this role, you'll partner with Operations, Business, Risk, Compliance and Audit teams to identify, assess and mitigate operational and conduct risks. You'll play a key role in ensuring robust governance, regulatory compliance, operational resilience and effective control oversight across a complex and dynamic operating environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide risk oversight across Global Markets Regulatory Operations, including transaction reporting, regulatory controls, reconciliations and exception management.
- Support the design, review and enhancement of risk and control frameworks, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and business priorities.
- Lead and coordinate risk assessments, control reviews and read-across analysis of internal and external events.
- Manage and support incident response, issue remediation and escalation activities, ensuring timely communication and resolution.
- Act as a key contact for internal audits, regulatory reviews and assurance activities, coordinating responses and tracking actions to closure.
- Drive governance activities, including risk reporting, committee materials, management information and issue tracking.
- Partner with stakeholders to strengthen risk awareness, embed a strong control culture and share lessons learned from incidents and reviews.
- Support operational resilience, business continuity and third-party risk initiatives impacting Regulatory Operations.
- Ensure effective implementation of policy, procedural and control changes into business-as-usual operations.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in Operational Risk Management, Risk & Control Management, or Business Risk Management within Financial Services.
- Deep understanding of Regulatory Operations, regulatory reporting and control oversight frameworks.
- Experience supporting audits, regulatory reviews, issue remediation and governance forums.
- Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across business, operations and control functions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risk, identify themes and recommend practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders.
Desirable Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience within Global Markets, Capital Markets Operations or Regulatory Reporting environments.
- Knowledge of operational resilience, business continuity and regulatory change programmes.
