Are you passionate about regulatory excellence, client experience, and operational transformation? Join us as Head of Markets Onboarding – Regulatory Due Diligence & Contract Negotiation, where you will lead the global strategy and execution for regulatory onboarding, due diligence, and trading documentation. You will be the key driver of change at the intersection of regulation, legal risk, and client lifecycle management – ensuring our processes are scalable, efficient, compliant, and client-centric.
Reporting directly to the Global Head of Markets Business & Client Solutions, you will oversee a high-performing global team and work with stakeholders across legal, compliance, sales, technology, and operations to deliver seamless onboarding experiences and ensure we stay ahead of global financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and lead the global regulatory onboarding framework across all Markets business lines.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of client due diligence and trading documentation (e.g., ISDA, CSA).
- Ensure compliance with key global regulations (e.g., MiFID II, Dodd-Frank, EMIR, UMR).
- Lead transformation initiatives to digitise and automate onboarding and contract workflows.
- Act as the strategic owner of regulatory onboarding platforms and contract lifecycle tools.
- Serve as governance lead for onboarding policies, contract standards, and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Front Office, and Tech to align and execute roadmap.
- Represent the organisation in industry forums and regulatory working groups.
- Build, develop, and lead global teams with a focus on talent growth and inclusivity.
- Drive a culture of risk awareness, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
Skills
- Deep knowledge of regulatory due diligence in financial markets (e.g., CFTC, EMIR, SFTR).
- Proven experience managing onboarding and legal documentation for institutional clients.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on ability to drive transformation and process automation.
- Skilled at building strong partnerships across diverse global teams and stakeholders.
- Effective communicator and influencer – able to translate complex requirements clearly.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and focus on commercial, risk, and client outcomes.
- Inclusive leader with experience managing large, multi-location teams.
