Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity to join the team! The Head of Risk and CFCR (“the Functions”) Operating Model (OM) Transformation will lead the Functions’ transformation to their target operating models.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop a roadmap for and implement the CFCR TOM, CFCR Location Strategy and Risk Country Model (RCM) initiatives in order to achieve committed benefits to the organisation by end of 2026
  • Guide transformations by aligning resources ensuring agility, resilience, and measurable success through key performance indicators
  • Work closely with FFG Horizontal Workstreams to identify and drive execution of Technology, HR, Learning and Development, Culture, Comms and Engagement, Data, and Regulatory Engagement requirements through the TOM and CRM implementation
  • Technology Integration: Drive the design and adoption of smart technologies to enhance data analysis, reporting, and decision-making processes.

Skills and Experience

Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Provide leadership across cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of transformation projects.
  • Collaborate with senior management, regulators, and internal stakeholders to embed a unified risk management approach.

Strategy

  • Develop, implement and maintain Target Operating Model strategies for Risk & CFCR
  • Awareness and understanding of the Group's business strategy and model appropriate to the role.

 

Business

  • Delivery of end of 2026 TOMs for Risk and CFCR in the context of the Businesses and Functions they support
  • Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the Group operates

Processes

  • Contribution to execution and supervision of Change Delivery process

  • Risk and CFCR Management Team Members
  • Risk COO Management Team
  • Technology
  • Other data domain owners

External:

  • Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and other key regulators
  • Industry Associations and Professional bodies such as IIF, ISDA, BBA

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • 8+ Years of relevant work experience in operational risk and/or compliance within banking.
  • Experience in implementing target operating models and/or large-scale transformations.
  •  Strong knowledge of right-shoring strategies and skills-based workforce planning.
  • Leadership in managing cross-functional teams and driving cultural change.
