JOB SUMMARY

Currently to our Team we are looking  for Head, Opeartion Enablement, LCS specialist.

The purpose of the role is to define, own and lead the operational foundations that enable LCS teams to deliver high‑quality work efficiently, consistently and confidently. The role is accountable for the design, implementation and ongoing effectiveness of the function’s technology, process, data and AI approaches, ensuring ways of working are practical, well‑supported and aligned with operational, risk and governance requirements. Working closely with LCS leadership, Risk and IT partners, the role ensures operational tools, processes and data are reliable, usable and sustainable, enabling clear reporting, effective delivery and the responsible adoption of emerging technologies.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Strategy
•    Define, own and maintain the LCS operational enablement roadmap covering technology, processes, operational data and AI adoption.
•    Establish clear, practical operating approaches that materially improve how LCS teams operate and deliver work.
•    Proactively align enablement priorities with business needs, risk expectations and leadership direction, resolving trade‑offs where required.
•    Identify opportunities to improve consistency, efficiency and usability through operational design.
•    Provide senior leadership with structured, evidence‑based recommendations on tools, workflows and operational improvements to support informed decision‑making.
•    Develop and own a LCS Digital, Data and AI Literacy Programme with measurable success criteria. 
•    Ensure all technology, data and AI initiatives are proportionate, sustainable and aligned with organisational governance standards.
•    Establish and lead, where required, rapid‑response taskforces to address priority operational issues, overseeing resolution to ensure timely and effective outcomes.

Business
•    Own and manage the LCS technology and operational tooling landscape, including prioritisation, lifecycle management and decommissioning.
•    Act as the primary operational interface with IT, Digital, Data and enterprise technology teams, representing LCS priorities and requirements.
•    Partner with LCS leaders to design and deliver practical operational solutions that materially improve day‑to‑day delivery.
•    Monitor adoption and usability of operational tools and solutions across teams and jurisdictions, intervening where adoption or value realisation is sub‑optimal.
•    Maintain operational playbooks, knowledge resources and practical guidance to support effective working.
•    Ensure measurable uplift in operational capability and adoption of systems, data and AI across LCS teams.

 

Processes
•    Define, own, maintain and continuously improve core operational processes and workflows across LCS.
•    Establish practical operational standards and consistent ways of working.
•    Simplify complex or fragmented processes while preserving appropriate professional judgement and governance expectations.
•    Ensure operational processes support reporting, oversight and effective collaboration.
•    Maintain documented procedures and operational frameworks that support consistency and scalability.
•    Manage the LCS Operations CoE ensuring service level compliance and driving efficiency and simplification of activities managed within the COE.

 

Qualifications

•    Extensive senior‑level experience leading operational enablement, transformation or platform‑based delivery within Legal, Governance, Risk or comparable professional services environments.
•    Proven accountability for the design and ownership of end‑to‑end operational models, including technology, processes, data and workflows, within complex, multi‑jurisdictional organisations.
•    Demonstrated experience implementing and governing legal or professional services technology solutions, including system ownership, vendor engagement, adoption management and lifecycle governance.
•    Strong track record of improving delivery flow, workload management and operational resilience, balancing efficiency, quality, risk and sustainability.
•    Demonstrated credibility and influence with senior professionals and leadership teams, with the ability to challenge, align and drive decisions across Legal, Risk, Technology and enterprise stakeholders
•    Strong experience owning operational data, including defining data standards, ensuring data quality, enabling effective reporting and generating actionable insight for decision‑making.
•    Practical understanding of responsible AI, automation and emerging technologies within regulated or risk‑sensitive environments, including alignment with governance, risk and control frameworks.
•    Highly resilient, pragmatic and outcome‑focused leader, with exemplary integrity, sound professional judgement and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, high‑pressure environments.
