Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Head of Syndication & Financing Risk Tech Delivery to spearhead the development of Risk, Analytics, and Data solutions for our Syndication and Financing Risk business. This pivotal technology leadership role focuses on delivering data-driven risk solutions for loans, syndications, CLOs, and synthetic financing. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams, data scientists, product owners, and business stakeholders to create and implement data analytics, and automation tools that enhance decision-making and risk assessment..

Key Responsibilities

  • Technology & Solution Delivery: Design, develop, and implement Risk and Analytics solutions for credit risk and financing inclusive of data sourcing and pipelines as required.
  • Agile Methodologies: Apply Agile methodologies to ensure efficient and iterative project delivery.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with business and engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with business goals.

Skills and Qualifications

Skill

  • Data Management & Analytics: Expertise in data management and risk analytics to deliver optimal insight and risk analytics solutions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Python, SQL - autonomy with Data/Databases. Familiar and curious about genAI, AI tools and modern technology stacks.
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of credit markets, lending data, and syndication processes, with the ability to apply this knowledge to improve the platform and build risk and analytics business solutions.
  • Agile & DevOps: Experience in Agile methodologies, ensuring efficient, iterative development.
  • Leadership: ability to lead a team toward specific business outcomes

Qualifications

  • MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics (Economics is a plus).
  • CFA or FRM certification preferred.
  • Ideally: 15+ years of experience in credit or lending risk technology team or credit risk analytics team with strong technology and delivery abilities.
