Job Summary

The role holder will be:

  • Coordinating updates and support the maintenance of the Group’s remuneration-related policies, processes, standards, guidelines, governance frameworks, detailed operating instructions and communication templates for incentives and other aspects of remuneration, to ensure they are efficient, effective and agile and comply with regulatory requirements and expectations
  • Be responsible for the effective communication of the Group’s policies and processes through Group communication channels including Pulse and oneSC, ensuring documentation such as terms of reference, policies and guidelines are kept up to date.
  • Supporting the Reward Governance team in relation to preparation for Board and Group Committees, setting agendas, preparation and approval schedules, managing timelines and logistics, drafting papers, supporting the effective execution of the Remuneration Committee, Group Reward Plan Committee, Remuneration Adjustment Committee and Risk and Accountability Forum.
  • Maintaining team planner, forward agendas and liaison with the office of the Company Secretary and other stakeholders.
  • Supporting different reward projects and related vendor management by maintaining and executing relevant project plans and liaising with Supply Chain Management.

We are looking for someone who has reward knowledge and is skilled in stakeholder communication. While we are looking for a candidate from the reward space, we are also open to a candidate from other business areas such as the wider HR function, compliance and audit.

  • Responsible for ensuring reward policies and practices are compliant with regulatory requirements and aligned with the long-term interests of the Group.

Risk Management

  • Ensure a full understanding of the risk and control environment in area of responsibility in line with the Group’s Risk Management Framework and the regulatory framework in which the Group operates, particularly in respect of reward governance and executive compensation.

 

Governance

  • Contribute to a regular review of the Group’s arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls, and work to improve processes in these areas.
  • Maintain awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements / expectations that are relevant to the role.

 

Regulatory & Business Conduct

  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Skills and Experience

 

  • Experience in project management and tracking deliverables 
  • Expertise in strategic reward design
  • Gathering and analysing data.
  • Communicating effectively.
