Job Description

Take the next step in your career as a Senior Analyst in Rates Middle Office, where you will play a key role in supporting trading activities and ensuring the smooth execution of Rates products across global markets.

In this role, you will develop deep expertise in Rates products while partnering with Trading, Sales, and cross-functional teams to enhance client experience, optimise processes, and support strategic initiatives. You’ll be part of a collaborative, fast-paced environment that values innovation, continuous improvement, and diverse perspectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day operational support to Trading and Sales teams across Rates products
  • Act as a subject matter resource for Rates product lifecycle, risk, market data, and P&L
  • Manage trade lifecycle activities, including query resolution and timely escalation to mitigate risk
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to support a “follow-the-sun” operating model
  • Partner with Technology, COO, and project teams to support new product launches and transformation initiatives
  • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders including Front Office, Operations, Legal, Credit, and Product Control
  • Drive process improvements, standardisation, and operational efficiencies
  • Support business continuity planning and ensure operational resilience
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives that enable new business and improve client outcomes
  • Engage with vendors and industry bodies to identify opportunities for system and process enhancements
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements

Skills and Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of Rates products and end-to-end trade lifecycle processes
  • Experience in middle office, operations, or financial markets environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage processes, resolve issues, and improve workflows
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills across diverse teams
  • Experience working in a global, fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of operational risk, controls, and regulatory frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to support change initiatives and continuous improvement
