We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented AI Research Administrator to support our AI research team. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills and a keen interest in artificial intelligence and machine learning. As an AI Research Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the administrative aspects of our AI research projects, facilitating communication within the team, and ensuring smooth operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy
•    Provide comprehensive administrative support to the AI research team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
•    Assist in the preparation and submission of research proposals, reports, and publications.
•    Maintain and organize research documentation, databases, and files.

Business
•    Business Analysts, Business Partners, COO Business, ITO, CDO, internal staff, clients and 3rd parties.

Processes
•    Coordinate and track the progress of AI research projects, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met.
•    Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members and external partners.
•    Assist with the planning and execution of research events, workshops, and conferences.

Governance
•    Prepare and distribute regular updates and reports on research activities and progress.
•    Serve as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries related to AI research projects.
•    Assist in the preparation of presentations and other communication materials.

Regulatory & Business Conduct

•    Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. 
•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
•    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
•    Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles

Key Stakeholders

•    Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities for AI applications that address key business challenges and drive growth.
•    Facilitate communication between business units and technical teams, ensuring a clear understanding of AI project objectives, requirements, and expected outcomes.
•    Conduct workshops and meetings to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for AI solutions.

Other Responsibilities

•    Work with senior management to develop and refine the bank's AI strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
•    Identify and prioritize AI use cases that have the potential to deliver significant business value.
Develop business cases for AI projects, including cost-benefit analysis, risk assessment, and ROI estimation

Qualification
•    Education     Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
•    Languages     English proficiency

•    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
•    Proven experience in an administrative or project coordination role, preferably within a research or academic environment.
•    Strong organizational and time-management skills.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•    Proficiency in office software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
