Title: Analyst, Risk Advisory

JOB SUMMARY
You will play a key role in ensuring risks are effectively managed in alignment with regulatory requirements and the Bank's risk framework. You will develop and manage regulatory clearance and engagement strategy for projects and initiatives which relate to data, technology, operations, and outsourcing risk, and participate in the roll-out with business lines, functions, and other compliance teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be able to map Group processes to Regulatory requirements with a Customer Journey focus
- Provide concise and relevant status updates to stakeholders, project working groups, project steering committees and proactively escalate issues as necessary
- Undertake quality assurance reviews of documentation required for country engagement, at times providing input to facilitate preparation of materials required for regulatory approvals
- Have an awareness of the overall cloud technology and carry out day-to-day work in a manner that achieves those overarching goals
- Identify and evaluate risk response options and provide management with information to enable risk response decisions
- Review risk responses with the relevant stakeholders for validation of efficiency, effectiveness and economy
- Apply risk criteria to assist in the development of the risk profile for approval
- Assist in the development of risk response action plans to address risk factors identified in the organizational residual risk profile.
- Implement tools to facilitate management dashboards and system managed workflows such Compliance Dashboard
- Provide subject matter expert advice, guidance and support on all matters related to Cloud Clearing House and Material Cloud Arrangement Profile submissions
- Advisory on Risk assessment narratives - quality and consistency
- Read, understand and interpret relevant regulations and act as the Subject Matter Expert for application and development teams onboarding to the cloud
- Build, manage and maintain relationships with global and regional teams across the bank (including Operations, Information Security, Compliance, Legal, Risk and Control and Audit).
Key Stakeholders
- Applications or project team from Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB), Wealth & Retail Banking (WRB), Functions, Technology & Architecture (T&A), Information & Cyber Security (ICS)
- Risk Manager for each domain
- Operational, Technology & Cyber Risk, CISO, Architecture
- Technology CIO or their delegates for each domain
- Group Internal Audit
Skills and Experience:
- Education: Degree level in a relevant discipline
- Experience in Audit, Information Security and/or Risk & Compliance
- Have a detailed understanding of the technology regulatory landscape for Financial Services, with a specific focus on Outsourcing and Cloud
- Strong influencing and English communication skills – oral, written and presentation.
- Risk and Control Management skills
- Knowledge and experience in Cloud Governance, Regulatory and Compliance
- Basic understanding of Cloud technology – AWS, Azure, Cloud risk and control (AWS/Microsoft)
- Agile Methodology
- Certifications in relevant discipline
- Excellent interpersonal skills and are adept at building relationships with different stakeholders.
