The Associate Director for AI Use Case Enablement is a business-savvy senior role to join our AI Platform Strategy team. This role focuses on translating business requirements into actionable, delivery-ready solution plans for AI, GenAI, and ML use cases. The role works closely with the AI Solutions team, who will deliver the build, while being accountable for producing clear, complete solution plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Business
•    Engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements and priorities
•    Produce solution plans that clearly outline scope, timeline, cost, resource needs, and dependencies
•    Collaborate actively with the AI Solutions team to ensure plans are actionable and align with platform capabilities
•    Act as a bridge between business needs and technical delivery, ensuring clarity and feasibility
•    Apply pre-sales style soft skills: influencing without authority, presenting proposals, handling objections, and building consensus
•    Ensure all plans align with governance, compliance, and platform readiness requirements
•    Track progress of approved solution plans during delivery and flag risks or deviations to stakeholders
•    Support post-deployment review to ensure business requirements were met
•    Gather lessons learned to improve future solution planning processes

Other Responsibilities

•    Shape ideas into impact: translate high-level business ambitions into scoped, actionable use case plans that can move from prototype to production.
•    Champion innovation and agility, ensuring new GenAI/ML ideas are explored responsibly and scaled effectively when value is proven.
•    Act as a trusted advisor to business teams, bringing clarity and confidence in how AI/ML initiatives can deliver measurable business outcomes.
•    Collaborate across teams, building strong bridges with AI Solutions, business units, and governance partners.
•    Model responsible AI adoption, ensuring plans reflect compliance, ethics, and sustainability.
•    Support broader Data & AI transformation efforts as assigned, taking on “double hat” responsibilities where solution planning expertise can accelerate group priorities.
•    Live SCB’s values by ensuring every plan is not only technically viable but also aligned to client trust and long-term growth.

Qualifications
•    Experience in AI/ML program delivery, product implementation, presales, solution architecture.
•    Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills
•    Commercial awareness and ability to articulate value propositions
•    Familiarity with GenAI and ML concepts
•    Experience with both Azure and AWS environments preferred
