JOB SUMMARY

As a Lead Full Stack Developer, you will work on both front-end and back-end development processes. You will design, develop, and maintain full-fledged and functioning platforms with databases or servers in line with the strategy, business goals, processes and regulations of the organization. 

 

Strategy

  • Contribute to the strategic goals of the organisation through the application of technology. 

  • Help the team towards delivering and living out our TTO Strategy by establishing Strong Digital Foundations, accelerating Transformation and driving Process Excellence

 

Business

  • Solve problems through the application of technical knowledge and skill, determining when and how technology can solve business problems. 

  • Scope and create technical solutions that contribute to the business’s strategic goals

 

Processes

  • Identify new areas of focus and activity for both internal and external technology communities 

  • Develop and roll out best practice in Technology domain of expertise or their specialism. 

  • Rescue, remediate or provide expertise on initiatives with significant technology challenge

 

People & Talent

  • Be a role model and build the appropriate culture and values. 

  • Set appropriate tone and expectations from their team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.  

  • Work with internal business teams, cross-functional engineering teams, and external vendors. ·

  • Effective conflict resolver and strong leadership skills to deliver on commitments and knowing when to say No to stakeholder

 

Risk Management

  • Make recommendations (and/or implement) to relevant stakeholders on possible risk management responses to identified risks and/or findings of concerns from investigations. 

  • Manage escalations on PEP / Sensitive issues requiring additional assessment and/or controls

  • Take personal responsibility for understanding the risk and compliance requirements of the role. 

  • Understand and comply with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, and regulations, including those governing anti-money laundering, terrorist financing, and sanctions; the Group’s policies and procedures; and the Group Code of Conduct. 

  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk and compliance matters.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Has at least 12 years of experience in Full Stack development using modern front-end and back-end frameworks
  • Has strong understanding of web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and solid grasp of RESTful web services, APIs and Webhooks.
  • Has done hands-on full stack experience in end-to-end development
    • Automation using Python
    • Modern front-end and back-end frameworks such as React, Angular,  Node.js, Express.js, Django
    • Databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL
    • Version control systems, such as Git
    • CI/CD tools and frameworks like Azure DevOps, Maven, NPM, PIP, Artifactory, Bamboo, Chef, Ansible, Puppet, Packer, Hashicorp, Terraform.
    • Public Cloud platforms, for ex. AWS, Azure or GCP
    • Container platforms, docker and helm chart, for e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift, EKS, AKS or GKE
    •  Devsecops Tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, WAF, IAST, Vulnerability management, Secrets Scanning, Secrets Management, Misconfiguration and Policy & Compliance Management)
    • Software development methodologies, such as Agile
  • Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • An excellent communicator and collaborator
  • Can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
