KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a Software Engineer who will work on Operating Systems Admin (Windows) and will perform the following responsibilities:
Strategy & Business

Provides overall production upport

Build and maintain support for APPRAPS OS Run Time

Lead ongoing Production activities, identifying potential area of improvements, implementing changes and maintaining system configurations.

Comply with the organization's Operational Risk and Operations Control Governance

Participate in Group audits and contribute significantly in defining and delivering the team’s response to any queries from the regulators and auditors.

Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
-
Has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/ Engineering or its equivalent.
-
Have hands-on working experience in Windows Server Operating System Products, with at least 5 years of production support experience and at least 3 years of support experience in Windows or Linux server clusters.

An experience in Powershell scripting and ADO DevOps would be an advantage.

Has proven ability to manage diverse stakeholder expectations

Able to identify and explain challenges to both technical and non- technical people
-
Has excellent oral and written communication skills and is able to articulate thoughts clearly with stakeholders ranging from engineers to senior business management.

A team player but technically autonomous and can work independently
-
Must be willing to work in 24x7 (including) weekends on request.
