Job Summary
Transaction Banking Sales will be responsible to driving growth of cash management and trade finance products and services with assigned client portfolio by:
- developing and executing a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue and profitability targets;
- cross-selling and upselling transaction banking products alongside other financial services;
- developing and sustaining effective client relationships at appropriate levels in the client organization;
- establishing yourself as a trusted advisor on cash and treasury management with clients;
- identifying cash/trade business opportunities, structuring and pitching appropriate solutions, making effective pitches, and delivering client mandates seamlessly; and
- collaborating with implementation, client management and service teams to ensure consistently superior client experience and positive economic impact to the bank.
The Role Responsibilities
Strategy
- Devise client level cash management and working capital strategy aligned with and socialised into the overall account plan.
- Chart clients’ treasury strategy and evolution roadmap.
- Define digitization agenda in the assigned portfolio that would drive client loyalty, wallet share growth, and share of mind.
Business
- Own cash/trade revenue and drive budget for the assigned individual portfolio.
- Drive healthy pipeline and closures through business origination activity and support team on deal advancement.
- Lead RFP (Request For Proposal) responses, client pitches and ensure successful conversions
- Manage deal execution, maintain oversight on implementation, and ensure revenue realization.
- Recommend and implement the appropriate service model for respective clients; and retain ownership of overall client experience with our cash management/trade finance solutions and services.
- Comply with internal policies, procedures, codes and applicable external laws and regulations.
Processes
- Comply with all processes related to securing the required deal review/credit/risk approvals before initiating or pricing a client transaction or opportunity.
- Align with internal stakeholders on related processes of transaction banking services and products before providing this to clients.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Minimum a Bachelor and/or master’s degree in Business Management, Banking or Finance OR equivalent
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant Transaction Banking sales experience with an excellent understanding of the banking landscape in Philipinne
- Broad banking expertise in developing holistic Trade solutions and assisting in identifying cross sell opportunities including Cash Management
- Experience in analysing client financials to identify appropriate working capital solutions that will meet client financial objective
- Proven ability to independently identify, drive and deliver on opportunities
- Strong leadership qualities, able to articulate and communicate the growing ambition and goals for the business both internally and externally.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, proven track record to work in a collaborative cross-border team environment with multi-cultural stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
