Job Summary

To lead and manage operational functions and teams by establishing strong governance frameworks, ensuring seamless execution of business processes and delivering key organizational objectives in a consistent and sustainable manner. The role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, optimizing process efficiency, managing operational risks, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and excellence.  A key focus area is developing and empowering talent through coaching, performance management and succession planning to build high-performing teams. 

Key Responsibilities

•    Oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable operations, including invoice processing, validation, payment runs, reconciliations, travel & expense claims, journal processing, approvals, and MIS reporting. 
•    Review exceptions, rework items, and process deviations to ensure accuracy and prevent recurring issues. 
•    Maintain compliance with Departmental Operating Instructions (DOI), Service Level Agreements (SLA) and all applicable company policies and regulatory requirements. 
•    Establish, monitor, and strengthen financial, operational, risk, and internal control frameworks, including KRI/KCS and Business Continuity Planning (BCP). 
•    Drive continuous process improvement, automation, productivity enhancement, and operational efficiency initiatives. 
•    Monitor service delivery performance and customer satisfaction, ensuring service commitments are consistently met or exceeded. 
•    Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships through proactive communication, issue resolution, and regular service reviews. 
•    Lead, coach, and develop team members, ensuring effective resource management, capability building, performance management, and employee engagement. 
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams and cross functions to ensure seamless operations and successful transition of migrated processes. 
•    Support preparation and reporting of operational MIS, performance metrics, volumes, billings, and management dashboards. 
•    Ensure proper documentation, governance, and maintenance of operational procedures and process controls. 
•    Deliver assigned work with high accuracy and within agreed turnaround times. 
•    Meet or exceed productivity, quality, customer satisfaction, and SLA commitments. 
•    Foster a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and customer-centric service delivery. 
•    Ensure seamless, compliant, and efficient execution of all assigned processes. 
•    Lead talent acquisition and hiring initiatives, ensuring the organization attracts, selects, and retains top talent while building a robust talent pipeline to support business growth.  
•    Drive the Performance Management System by overseeing goal setting, performance evaluations, feedback mechanisms, talent development, and succession planning to foster a high-performance culture and achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

•    8–12 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), or Requisition-toPay (R2P) operations. 
•    Minimum 3 years of people management experience. 
•    Experience within Banking, Financial Services or Shared Services preferred. 
•    Exposure to multinational and high-volume transaction environments is an advantage 
•    Proven experience handling complex AP transactions, audits, controls, and stakeholder management. 
•    Proven track record of managing end-to-end processes and operational teams. 
•    Experience in risk management, governance, audit engagement, and regulatory compliance. 
•    Demonstrated success in leading transformation, automation, and process improvement initiatives. 
•    Demonstrated ability to engage with senior stakeholders and drive business outcomes 
•    Experience working with senior stakeholders across geographies and functions. 
•    Any Degree or master’s degree in commerce or business administration Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (Preferable). 
•    Certifications related to Supply Chain or Banking Operations (Preferable). 
•    Languages: English
