Job Description: 

JOB SUMMARY

To support the Head of Business Management in aspects of Operations Business Management, with focus on cost and workforce management. The five core areas of interest diversely span (1) HR (2) Finance (3) Strategy Implementation (4) Data & Digitisation (5) Support & Enablement. This is a global role that involves stakeholder management spanning a variety of departments, geographies and business partners. Executing an agile and data conscious enablement function to deliver client centric value growth for the Bank’s coverage business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy
•    Track productivity measures and operational performance metrics
•    Support Monthly Run rate models and target tracking
•    Support strategic initiatives and quantify business benefits
•    Support functional mapping and capacity modelling
•    Provide performance dashboards and scorecards
•    Track transformation initiatives
•    Support client profitability model inputs
•    Prepare executive level performance reporting

Business
•    Support Cost forecasting and regional engagement meetings within Client Enablement & Lending Operations
•    Provide inputs for corporate planning and budget transfer execution
•    Cost save initiative tracking through BART and benefit realisations 
•    Track attrition and update rate cards periodically
•    Support Client Profitability Model with relevant inputs and reconciliation with financials

•    Follow up on Business Financial exception trends to address any risks to targets
•    Ensure accounting standards are followed for cost accruals, pre-paid expenses, Balance Substantiations etc 
•    Work with Finance to operationalize cost allocation models and to charge relevant businesses supported by wider Coverage Ops (Client Enablement & Lending Operations)
•    Manage payments and invoices for vendor related expenses, particularly within GBS

Processes
•    Support cost forecasting and planning cycles
•    Support corporate planning and budget transfer execution
•    Track cost saves initiatives and benefit realisation
•    Track attrition and update rate cards
•    Support cost allocation and recharge models.
•    Perform GBS recharges to Onshore are executed on a timely basis to ensure recovery of all Costs as per Guidelines
•    GBS Margins must be always maintained as agreed with regulatory authorities across all hubs under transfer pricing agreements.
•    Track vendor payments and invoices
•    Support cost accruals and balance sheet substantiation in accordance with accounting standards
•    Prepare cost waterfall analysis
•    Financial modelling and scenario analysis
•    Budget variance and performance analysis

•    Working group & offsite preparations, bookings and vendor management, along with related social engagement initiatives
•    Support all right shoring initiatives for validating cost benefit analysis
•    Build dashboards and reporting packs
•    Develop automation using VBA and Excel macros
•    Create PowerPoint executive presentations
•    Develop cost analytics and dashboards
•    Support digitisation initiatives
•    Build management information reporting
•    Create cost waterfall analytics

People & Talent
•    Support workforce planning and headcount tracking
•    Capacity modelling and demand forecasting
•    Track hiring pipelines and attrition
•    Support stakeholder engagement
•    Support employee engagement initiatives in GBS
•    Support organizational planning – Create Back ups

Risk Management
•    Provide Early Warning for identified risks in business financials Vs Client Enablement & Lending Operations MT

Governance
•    Monitor all SLAs and vendor contracts for its validity
•    Support Taxation teams during periodic reviews of Transfer Pricing Agreements

•    Undertake other responsibilities or initiatives as assigned based on the business direction of CIB CELO and CIB Operations 
•    Addressing ad-hoc queries and management information requests from regional business managers and key stakeholders

Qualifications

•    Education - Graduate with at least 6+ years Banking experience
Training     
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a Requirement
•    Ability to deal, analyse and manipulate large amounts of data is a Requirement
•    Experience in GBS cost + billing model and invoice management is a Requirement
•    Experience in managing large scale property optimisation and GBS business operations coordinations is Preferred
•    Experience in VBA, Powerpoint business presentations and Cost Waterfall is Preferred
Languages     
•    English, Local Language
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
