Job Summary

As the Manager of Supervisory Services Operations, you will play a crucial role in leading and overseeing the daily operations of the Supervisory Services function. Your primary objective will be to ensure strict compliance with internal procedures, regulatory requirements, applicable laws, and the Group's principles. You will liaise closely with various stakeholders, including Fund Management Companies, to review and validate fund documents such as Fund Charters, Prospectuses, and Valuation Manuals, guaranteeing alignment with prevailing regulations. Your responsibilities include supervising the accurate valuation of net asset values (NAV), monitoring investment activities, validating investment portfolios, and ensuring that all financial transactions and payments adhere to legal and internal standards. Additionally, your role requires timely and transparent communication with investors and regulatory authorities, prompt resolution of operational issues, and constant monitoring of regulatory updates to maintain robust compliance. You will also be responsible for delivering exceptional service to clients, managing inquiries related to Supervisory Services, and escalating critical matters to senior management where appropriate. This role demands a dynamic individual with a deep understanding of fund operations, strong leadership capabilities, and a proactive approach to process improvement within the financial services environment.

This position is based in Hanoi and requires a full-time presence at the office. It offers an excellent opportunity to contribute significantly to Supervisory Services within a dynamic banking environment.

Skills and Experience

Successful candidates will have a solid understanding of the Vietnamese securities market, enabling them to navigate complex regulatory and market dynamics effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and Word is essential for producing accurate reports and managing data efficiently. Strong management and organisational skills will enable you to oversee operations and coordinate workflows within your team effectively. Additionally, attention to detail and analytical thinking are crucial for monitoring compliance and identifying areas for process improvement.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a university degree complemented by three to four years of experience in fund services operations, accounting, or auditing sectors. A broad knowledge of banking operations and best practices underpins success in this role, alongside a thorough understanding of fund administration processes and relevant accounting standards.

You should demonstrate the ability to manage multiple changing priorities in a fast-paced environment, effectively balancing work pressures and client requirements. Independent working capability and leadership skills are essential, as is resilience under pressure. A helpful and proactive attitude, willing to go beyond standard expectations, is highly valued.

Specific competencies and knowledge expected include:

• Introductory knowledge of Operational Risk Management principles
• Core product knowledge related to fund services
