Title: Manager, Financial Crime Surveillance Operations, Bahrain
Manama, BH
Key Responsibilities
- Day to day processing of List Management , Production Orders , Transaction Monitoring , Transaction Screening and Name Screening cases in line with AAA procedures and in a timely manner within agreed turn around time's.
- Support the implementation of the Financial Crime Surveillance Operations strategy by escalating appropriate FCC and AML surveillance issues.
- Support with any complex investigations as required.
- Assist the Country Head Financial Crime Surveillance Operations to implement investigation and surveillance standards set by regulators and the Group FCC function
- Ensure names are added to the watch lists on a timely basis.
- Understand technical aspects of systems relevant to List Management, CDD, Client Risk Assessments, Name and Transaction Screening, AML Monitoring and Case Management.
- Inform Line Manager / Senior Management and relevant regulators of serious regulatory breaches and ensure that actions are taken quickly to remediate and/or activities are ceased.
- Map risks, quantify the potential impact and escalate where necessary.
- Support all control checks undertaken by Financial Crime Surveillance Operations under the Operational Risk Framework.
- Collate, analyses and interpret data in reports.
- Analyze and interpret data to produce reports that help the bank identify and manage emerging areas of risk / vulnerability and support in remediation actions.
- Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

- Expertise in regulatory framework
- Proficiency in data analysis and interperatio
- Awareness of financial crime risk
- Strong analytical skills
- Familiarity with DOCBO
