Role Summary
Anchorpoint is seeking a Marketing, Branding and Communication Lead to drive the development and execution of our marketing, brand positioning, and corporate communications strategy as we launch and scale our business.
This is a high-impact, front-facing role with a broad mandate to shape our core narratives, establish a strong and consistent brand identity, and build market awareness for Anchorpoint, our stablecoin, and the wider ecosystem. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, the role will work closely with internal stakeholders—including the Standard Chartered Corporate Affairs, Branding & Marketing function (SCB CABM) — as well as external partners to deliver effective, integrated marketing and communication initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a high-agency, fast-learning and resourceful individual with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills, capable of representing the franchise with credibility across a diverse set of stakeholders.
Role Responsibilities
- Define and execute the overall marketing strategy, content pipeline, and brand positioning
- Ensure consistent tone of voice, core narratives, and targeted messaging across key audience segments
- Lead end-to-end delivery of marketing campaigns and go-to-market initiatives with partners and distributors
- Drive content strategy across digital channels, including social, website, and thought leadership
- Build and manage strategic partnerships to amplify brand awareness and ecosystem growth
- Plan and deliver high-impact events and industry engagements
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (including SCB CABM, product, risk, and compliance) to ensure alignment
- Establish marketing processes, governance frameworks, and performance tracking mechanisms
- Build, scale, and lead a high-performing team with a strong culture of accountability and execution
- Proactively manage reputational risk, media engagement, and compliance with regulatory and conduct standards
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience in marketing, corporate communications, media, or related fields
- Proven experience in regulated financial institutions, listed companies, and/or digital asset environments
- Strong track record in managing multi-stakeholder collaborations, including co-marketing campaigns and events
- Experience leading execution through in-house teams and/or external agencies
- Solid understanding of media platforms, digital channels, and content strategies
- Strong judgement, organization, and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and stakeholder management capabilities
- Analytical, problem-solving mindset with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Collaborative team player with a proactive, positive, and resilient attitude
- Fluent in English and Mandarin; native Cantonese preferred
