Job Description: 

Job Summary

•    We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) Centre of Excellence. This role focuses on enabling reliable, secure, and scalable delivery of enterprise applications that operate within the DLT domain ecosystem. This position operates in a high-security, high-availability, on-premise environment, working closely with development, security, infrastructure and operation teams.
•    The ideal candidate is a senior DevOps engineer with strong experience operating in large, on-prem enterprise environments. They are comfortable working within established platform, security controls, and operational processes, and know how to effectively leverage existing infrastructure and tooling to deliver applications to production. They bring a security-first, reliability-focused mindset, understand what it takes to run high-availability, mission-critical systems, and take ownership of operational readiness, monitoring and incident support.

Key Responsibilities

•    Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications within the DLT domain.
•    Support deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of applications across environments.
•    Enable smooth promotion of applications across environments while adhering to enterprise standards, security, and change management.
•    Manage and maintain application infrastructure with a focus on availability, resilience, and performance.
•    Design and implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using enterprise-approved tools.
•    Drive DevOps-related initiatives such as automation improvements and operational readiness

Skills and Experience

•    Proficiency in CI/CD and IAC tools e.g. terraform, git-ops, Jenkins 
•    Strong Linux and scripting skills (Bash, Python)
•    Containerization and Deployment to Kubernetes: 
•    Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm. Proven track record deploying systems on AWS EKS or Azure AKS using CI/CD pipelines.
•    Cryptography & Security: 
•    Knowledge of cryptographic primitives including public/private key infrastructure, symmetric/asymmetric encryption, digital signatures, and secure key management.
•    Blockchain Platforms: 
•    Hands-on experience with permissioned blockchain frameworks such as Quorum, Hyperledger Besu, Hyperledger Fabric, and Corda, including provisioning, configuration, and orchestration.
•    Enterprise Integration:
•    Experience integrating applications with enterprise services 

Qualifications

•    Masters or Engineering background
