Global Support Functions Apprentice - India   

 

Our 12 Months Apprenticeship Programme is designed to give you real responsibility from day one, while building the skills and experience to start your career in a global bank.  

You won’t just observe how a global bank operates – you'll contribute to the teams that keep it running, evolving and ready for the future. From managing risk and strengthening our operations to supporting our people, technology and business, our Global Support Functions play a critical role in helping the Bank perform at its best.  

Throughout the programme, you’ll:  

  • Take ownership of meaningful work and contribute to real business priorities  
  • Build technical, analytical and problem-solving skills through hands-on experience 
  • Learn how data, technology and processes are used to improve the way we work 
  • Develop your communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills 
  • Learn from experienced colleagues and gain exposure to senior leaders 

 

By the end of the programme, you’ll have a better understanding of how a global bank works, the role your function plays in its success, and where your skills and ambitions could take you next.  

What we’re looking for  

We're looking for curious, driven individuals who want to learn how global banking works in practice.   

You should:   

 

  • Have graduated from college in 2026. 
  • Have the legal right to work in India 
  • Have strong academic performance and be actively involved beyond the classroom  
  • Be confident working with data and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)  
  • Be detail-oriented, organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment  
  • Demonstrate integrity and a strong sense of responsibility   
  • No prior banking experience is required – just the motivation to learn and contribute.

We enable the Bank to operate effectively, responsibly and at scale across our global markets. Our teams support how decisions are made, how risks are managed, and how the organisation runs day-to-day. We ensure the Bank runs effectively and responsibly by supporting governance, risk management, financial performance and regulatory compliance across our global footprint. We provide the insight and expertise that supports decision making through areas such as finance, risk, legal and corporate functions, helping shape strategy and business outcomes.  

We work across every part of the Bank, partnering with businesses, functions and support teams to ensure the organisation operates smoothly and sustainably.
