Job Description: 

Key Responsibilities

Governance
•     To manage the complete governance of the 2% India Sustainability portfolio of over 74Mn USD
Summary of key functions:
•    Complete governance of the 2% portfolio
•    Review of each of the projects across the three themes ( SiB, WASHE and Futuremakers) to finalise from a financial and controls point of view.
•    Create MOU’s and liase with NGO partners to finalise.
•    Support in Portfolio Governance 
•    Regulatory and business conduct
•    Manage the EV portfolio for the Bank in India
•    Manage the Audit for the 2% portfolio – internal and external under guidance of the Head of Sustainability.
Project Assurance and Oversight 
•    Continuously review and manage the 2% governance portfolio
•    Carry out regular due diligence of the NGO documents to ensure they are updated, and regular communication is available and uploaded.
•    Secure and manage group approvals on projects onboarded.
•    Support the programme management team on assessing how the projects are doing and where we need to be cautious from a financial due diligence point of view.
•    Be a part of the Deloitte ( M&E) partner reviews and actively be a part of the programme management review.

•    Be an integral part of the 2% strategy team to plan the portfolio.
•    Communicate with NGO partners to ensure documentation is updated
•    Manage the payments and all approvals for the entire 2% portfolio – including suspense, and unspent accounts.
•    Prepare dossier to present to the CSR Committee twice a year.
Employee volunteering and communication
•    Develop internal communications to promote the banks employee volunteering agenda among employees.
•    Manage the social media and external communications of the employee volunteering portfolio with internal communications and social media team.
•    Create interesting opportunities for staff to meet the country employee volunteering target.
•    Be a part of the large employee volunteering events.
Governance and funding
•    Develop partner contracts under guidance of the portfolio managers and support in due diligence of the partners to ensure compliance with the Bank’s Donation Policy.  
•    To ensure necessary documentation for payments, utilisation and settlement of projects and regulatory reporting is done in a timely manner
•    Support in timely processing of payments to NGO partners and preparing portfolio payment packs as per disbursement timeline. 
•    Identify and assess sources of regulatory risks related to 2% portfolio.
•    Be updated of the changes in the 2% guidelines and ensure that the portfolio remains in sync to the changes.
•    Support in reporting of the overall 2% portfolio for the CSR Committee.

Programme Development Services
•    Onboard of new sustainability programme partners
•    Provide oversight to ensure that the activities being undertaken are in congruence with the project goal and the overall goal of the portfolio. 
•    Analyze impact assessment reports prepared by independent third-parties and review the alignment of outcomes in line with those anticipated at the time of engaging in the projects.

Qualifications

•    Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in managing assessment of the donations governance portfolio.
•    High degree of proficiency in data analytics, reporting, planning & presentation tools.
•    Highly proficient in Microsoft tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•    Ability to conduct research and analysis and deploy monitoring & evaluation frameworks.
•    Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise efficiently.
•    Excellent writing, communication, and project management skills.
•    Collaborative, self- motivated and ability to work both in a team as well as independently.
•    Flexible to travel to project sites to monitor progress of grant programs as a learning and role enhancement.
