Key Responsibilities
Strategy
• Manage Technology Delivery of Strategic Projects for Standard Chartered Capital Limited
• Effectively initiate the DR testing for local applications in compliance with the regulatory and group technology requirements.
• Maintains relationships with Global Technology, interfaces ensuring compliance to Group Standards of all project deliveries and exceptions signed off.
• To be responsible for an end-to-end solution and implementation of Technology projects
• Assess Project Risks for Projects under purview and Delivery and work towards mitigating the same
• Provide support to BAU issues related to SC CAPITAL applications
• Championing change and interpreting business needs into successful technology implementations
• Accountability will be to run local Production Systems Support for SC Capital Local Applications.
Business
• SC Capital Technology is a function responsible for the governance, support and management of the local tech requirements of the business.
• Establish strong Business Relationships with SC Capital stakeholders and provide technical support and guidance for all projects, technical issues and initiatives
• Earlier experience in Indus LOS, Collection will have added advantage.
• Lead management, Loan origination, Collection system, Lending domain background is required.
• Maintain positive stakeholder relations and manage expectations effectively
• Analyse the impact of proposed business changes and manage the change implementation
• Work with multiple Group Tech Project Managers/External Service providers to deliver within project schedule ensuring adequate quality of delivery
• Provides leadership and guidance in all Technology aspects.
• Effective project management, project delivery and project implementation for technology in area of SC Capital
• Use Technology for Process optimization
• Accountable to evaluate, design, build, implement, and maintain best in class automated processes that enhance the internal/external customer experience leading to achievement of our desired customer experience, in partnership with stakeholders
Processes
• Responsible for delivery of timely, cost-effective and within Budget, Technology Projects and solutions for SC Capital.
• Drive solution discussion with various stakeholders for country discretionary and non-discretionary project.
• Engage various stake holders –Development teams and Project Managers, network, Country technology teams
• Evaluate and Liase with Vendors to identify solutions. Provide recommendations to Project team
• Provides guidance in all Technology aspects of the project under responsibility
• Understands the implications of different technical choices and is able to guide users to the best solution for their situation
• Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner from assigned projects
• Define, communicate and enforce Technology standards
• Manages BAU issue including escalated cases and high severity cases for the assigned portfolio.
• Keep track of the technology, digital trends for the respective segment that are innovative and improves client experience.
• Constantly work towards improving efficiency of business processes.
Risk Management
• Manage technology risk for the assigned Portfolio
• Ensure Risk Management principles are applied consistently
• Engage in internal Audits and external audits
• Ensure timely and accurate Regulatory submissions
Governance
• Govern projects / changes to ensure smooth rollout and keep stakeholders updated on the Risk , challenges, mitigation plan for the projects / changes.

• Indus Loan Origination, LMS, Collection, RMS
• Agile Certification
• AWS/Azure Cloud certification will be of value add.
• Java/J2EE (Java 6–11): Core Java, collections, exception handling, multithreading (for log/issue analysis)
• Frameworks: Spring / Spring MVC / Spring Boot (as applicable), Hibernate/JPA, JSP/Servlets
• Web Services: REST/SOAP, JSON, XML, WSDL, XSD
• Oracle 19c
• Linux basics, networking concepts
• L1.5 / L2 / L3 support for critical lending applications
Qualifications
• Education: B Tech Computer Science
• Training: AWS Devops Engineer
• Certifications: Six Sigma, Agile Practitioner
• Languages: English & Hindi
