Job Summary
• Generating trading calls for multiple time frames (Intra-day, Intra-week, Positional) with high strike rates and yields.
• Generating market commentaries, preparing pivot table and various periodic reports.
Key Responsibilities
• Preparing Market Commentaries – To Prepare Market commentaries on Indian Equity Market; Prepare other periodic reports; To attend daily Conference Call for giving short term to medium term technical outlook on Indian Equity Markets and Sectors; Preparing timely and error free report; Maintain good track record by giving proper Equity Market and sectoral view on different time horizon.
• Technical Recommendation – To give positional technical recommendation on Stocks; preparing technical section in India Top picks report; recommendations for India Equity forum, To give trading calls on option segment as per group policy based on technical & derivatives analysis -
• Strike Rate: 70%.
• Generating trade ideas.
• Technical Ad hoc Report and GWM Initiative – Supporting various GWM initiatives including preparing various reports.
• Attending the morning conference call and providing relevant quantitative information, attending to queries if any
• Ensure service standards are met and maintained on a consistent basis throughout the year.
• Dissemination of relevant information up to the end users
• Resolving queries of internal and external customers within the TAT
• Ensure adherence to customer authentication norms
• Ensure error free transactions & Adherence to anti mis-selling / TCF norms
• Ensure adherence to "Dos & Don'ts" norms
• Ensure adherence to statutory / regulatory and internal norms
• Operating losses are minimized / reduced
• Adhere to Group Code of Conduct and other Company Policies
• Ensure all legal matters are addressed / escalated appropriately to relevant authorities

Business
• Adherence to all KYC, AML and other procedural requirements

• Maintain record of investment strategy team in accordance of SEBI guidelines
Risk Management
• Ensure compliance with policies applicable to Investment Strategy/SCSI research which impact operational risk. Challenge processes, procedures, and policy if there is opportunity for efficiency improvements.
Governance
• Execution of timely flow of information to all stakeholders
• Maintain record of investment strategy team in accordance of SEBI guidelines
• Escalate issues, blockages, challenges and trends to SCSI Business Head and other internal stakeholders.

• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. Key Requirements for the role:
• Knowledge of SEBI guidelines for Research Analyst – to enable assessment of cross-business issues.
• Fair understanding of different investment product including F&O products.
• Relevant business experience in operations, business analysis or project management.
• Strong analytical skills, detail-focused with the ability to interpret large volume of information.
• Problem solving skills with ability to influence across all levels of business.
• Ability to independently drive initiatives with minimum hands-on supervision.
Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Banking or Finance / CA / CFA preferred.
• Ideally 3+ years of experience in banking, analytical or another relevant environment
• Languages: English and/or local language skills as relevant to country requirements
