Job Summary
The job holder is responsible for assisting the India Private Banking Head . This involves working closely with the Private Bank Management Team and other stakeholders in driving the Private Bank Business.
Business
• Assist Private Head to drive the Private Bank business including tracking and Financials and other parameters.
• Assist the Private Bank head with various enablers to drive the business drivers such as contests, awards etc.
• Assist the Private Bank in Budgeting/ tracking budgets and RM performances and overview of scorecards.
• Assist Private Head to participate in various external awards.
Strategy
• Assist Private Bank Head with any presentation required with senior Management.
• Assist Private Bank head in any strategic discussions / preparations etc
• Assist Private Bank Head to ensure team implement changes to Internal Standards and Procedures in line with development in the business.
• Assist the Private Bank head with key deals in the market
• Assist Private Bank Head to ensure strict compliance of Internal procedures in line with the standards laid down as per the Quality Policy
• Assist Private Bank Head to ensure compliance of all Internal Procedures, Operational Controls and Regulatory Requirements.
• Assist Private Bank head to ensure speedy resolution of customer queries and complaints, in accordance with laid down procedures and quality standards.
Credit
• Assist Private Banking team with credit assessment of the cases that the team wishes to pursue.
Key Responsibilities
Governance
• Assist Private Head to ensure appropriate governance processes and operational risk parameters are followed in Private Banking.
• Assist Private Head to ensure compliance with the highest standards of regulatory conduct and compliance practices as defined by internal and external requirements. This includes compliance with local regulatory requirements, other applicable laws (e.g., laws governing securities activities, company law) and anti-money laundering regulations and guidelines)
• Assist Private Head to embed the Group’s values and code of conduct and ensure that adherence with the highest standards of ethics, and compliance with relevant policies, processes and regulations among employees form part of the culture
People & Talent
• Assist Private Head in embedding a high-performance culture.
• Assist Private Head in resourcing, developing, and rewarding talent to deliver business goals.
• Assist Private Head to ensure adherence to proper and professional conduct in the entity..
Key Measurables
• Ability to support Private head to develop strategy and drive execution of Private Bank Business
• Internal and external stakeholder management
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders.

• High energy levels to drive this as a key growth engine for the Private bank.

Skills and Experience
• Experience of 6- 8 years
• In-depth knowledge of products, services, and delivery channels available for Private Customers.
• Informed in market competition, industry practices and regulations for Private banking
• Strong analytical, problem solving, networking and financial management skills
• Good Interpersonal Skills
• Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Qualifications
• Academic or Professional Education/Qualifications – MBA
• Licenses and Certifications/accreditations – as required by role remit and responsibility
• Professional Memberships – as required by role remit and responsibility
• Bank training; i.e. mandatory & developmental – as below
• Languages – fluency in business English
• Demonstrable and relevant experience in the Private Banking industry commensurate with this remit and level of responsibility
• Strong ability to develop a network of target prospects
• Proven risk management capabilities
• Firm in all business guidelines and compliance issues
• Sound knowledge of financial markets and investment products
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills
