Job Summary

•    This is a senior role with a focus on growing our client-focused community in support of Bank strategy.
•    The role will drive functional performance and business results in partnership with the Head of CRES, India, ASEAN and South Asia and wider Global CRES MT.
o    analyse various real estate, workplace and financial data and prepare materials for discussions to facilitate decision-making at various forums and committees to achieve the Bank-wide and CRES initiatives.
o    deliver efficiency, change, and functional performance agendas. 
o    prioritise investment and focus to drive optimal outcome for CRES and to maintain rigorous cost and investment discipline across CRES.
o    work with Country Head of CRES to maintain accuracy of CRES data which will form the basis for a data informed design and decision making. 
o    run day to day CRES management operations and to connect with geographies to review optimal operating rhythm and model.
o    review opportunity and work with markets to simplify our operations to create capacity for our team
RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy
•    Proactively track and manage performance across the various facets of corporate real estate within the India, ASEAN and South Asia geography ensuring delivery of core programmes within each country (e.g. Fit for Growth)   
•    Where necessary identify gaps and implement resolutions required to deliver the agenda.
•    Identify and surface efficiency opportunities where CRES can further optimise performance. 
•    Drive alignment of objectives and scorecard metrics to strategic goals.
Business
•    Responsible for assuring the Corporate Plan within the geography and to influence outcome to ensure delivery of functional performance, budgets, client related matters with a right balance of governance.
•    Leverage strong real estate, workplace, stakeholder engagement and financial acumen to form and deliver data driven corporate real estate and services initiatives and to ensure optimal solutions are implemented that aligns with CRES strategy and global consistency
•    Responsible for working with Country Head of CRES to maintain accuracy of CRES data which will form the basis for a data driven outcome/decision. 
•    Responsible for reviewing financial performance / budget with CRES Finance’s support to ensure we maintain strong cost discipline and to drive any efficiency initiative with Head of CRES India, ASEAN & South Asia to align with overall global target.
•    Responsible for unlocking further opportunities and prioritising focus when reviewing asset management plan and workplace investment plan to ensure the investment yielded the optimal outcome for CRES and the Bank and to ensure global consistency.
•    Responsible for preparing reports, presentations, papers to support discussions and decision making at various forums. 
•    Responsible for aligning all business cases (asset management, workplace, financial, business needs) before execution for the optimal CRES outcomes and also to ensure global consistency
•    Responsible for the planning, co-ordination and project management ad-hoc and confidential initiatives with Head of CRES, India, ASEAN & South Asia. 
•    Review opportunity and work with markets to simplify our operations and processes to create capacity for our team aligning with global consistency.
•    Support business engagements with other teams / partners / peers in the Bank.

Processes
•    Responsible to run required cluster CRES performance review at relevant committees to ensure performance is on track.
•    Support  Head of CRES, India, ASEAN and South Asia ahead of material issues and act as the point of contact to help manage issues/ solve problems. 
People & Talent 
•    Responsible for supporting Head of CRES, India, ASEAN and South Asia on people management in the areas of resourcing, talent development, performance management, organisation structure, learning and development and engagement, in accordance with frameworks and standards set by Group. 
•    Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from the team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners
•    Assist Head of CRES, India, ASEAN and South Asia on the team structure/capacity plans regularly and feed opportunities into COO.
Risk Management
To support Head of CRES, India, ASEAN and South Asia on risk related matters as needed 

Governance 
•    Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group and Geographies operates and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
•    Chair the CRES Forum to ensure investment, prioritisation and benefit case is sound before execution

Qualifications

•    Experience - Real Estate Senior position with 8+years functional exposure 

Preferred Qualifications (experience more important than qualifications):
•    Preferably a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Facilities Management, Engineering or other business-related discipline preferred
•    Knowledge of the real estate market as well as a keen understanding of customer service principles
•    Demonstrated resourcefulness in seeking out market opportunities and leveraging supplier base to maximum advantage
•    Qualifications and strong background around Business Analytics and Financials would be essential
•    Strong Communication and Negotiation skills
•    Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. 
•    Creative problem-solver with good multi-tasking skills, able to prioritise issues and resolve them efficiently. 
•    Mature self-starter who can quickly get up to speed and take a strategic view.
•    Ability to work on broad strategic projects as well as day-to-day process-oriented tasks.
•    Strong organisational skills and process discipline to drive multiple agendas. 
•    Flexibility and responsiveness to handle changing priorities and urgent requests from senior management. 
•    Experience of working in the geographic/functional matrix. 
•    Ability to engage stakeholders well in both a one-to-one relationship and team environment.
