Job Summary

The role involves building a best-in-class affluent client value proposition by leveraging products, partnerships, experiences and rewards

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Strategy

  • Build a best-in-class, wealth-led affluent client value proposition. Lead implementation, delivery & monitoring of the CVP 
  • Build strategic partnerships & alliances to enhance CVP 
  • Enable growth in quality of acquired clients  

Business

  • CVP
  • Build a wealth-led affluent CVP – leverage market insights, competition offerings and current product suite to assess gaps and recommend suitable solutions
  • Build partnerships & alliances with providers across travel, hospitality, lifestyle management, professional consultancies etc to enhance CVP
  • Identify and solve for key affluent client product requirements across advisory, bespoke wealth solutions, deposits, cards and lending
  • Enhance and scale the rewards, privileges & experiences offered to affluent clients. Deliver premium concierge offerings & bespoke experiences
  • Marketing & Brand: Work to launch and develop high-visibility marketing campaigns to enhance the Standard Chartered affluent brand
  • NPS: Drive best-in-class Net Promoter Scores across affluent segment proposition, products and platforms
  • Own delivery, implementation and communication of CVP offerings. Monitor CVP profitability & economics
  • Monitor key client portfolio metrics (growth in affluent acquisition, assets under management, net new money, growth in qualified and wealth active clients) to assess effectiveness of CVP

Processes

  • Implement CVP execution & delivery processes 
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and streamline operational procedures
  • Implement efficient processes for tracking engagement and performance

People & Talent

  • Work with cross-functional teams across products, sales, legal and compliance, marketing, finance, analytics to deliver the CVP agenda
  • Nurture & build team talent

Risk Management

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with CVP elements
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal risk frameworks
  • Monitor market trends and client feedback to proactively address potential risks

Governance

  • Maintain robust governance practices 
  • Regularly review CVP offerings to ensure alignment with client needs and regulatory requirements
  • Report performance and risk metrics to senior management and relevant stakeholders

Regulatory & Business Conduct 

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. 
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Lead  Affluent Segment and Investment Products to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles. 
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
