Job Summary

The product manager will be responsible for building the investment business for mutual funds, conducting research and due-diligence of mutual funds

Key Responsibilities

Strategy
•    This role would be closely working with the Portfolio Wealth Specialist Team/ WS and MI Product Team to facilitate a deep-dive portfolio review for all clients :
o    > 5 cr AUM to be covered by PWS
o    > 1 cr AUM covered to be covered by WS
•    The role would also have partial exposure to meeting and interacting with clients as an understudy to the Wealth Specialists.
•    Portfolio Analyst would also be required to work closely with MI product teams to align client portfolio’s as per our India Market Outlook.
•    We would institute a 2 PR mandate for all True Qualified Clients.
The role would also require learning / adoption of key portfolio tools like District D, Morning Star and Blomberg data to prepare client portfolio decks.
Building the investment business and especially mutual funds to achieve leadership position in the marketplace. Responsible for product research and due diligence of mutual funds. 

Business
•    Work with AMC partners to gather inputs for performing quality analysis and due diligence on funds. The person will be responsible for product research with responsibility of running our product research committees, due-diligence, and preparation of Fund Select. 

Processes
•    Ensuring the appropriateness of the products and compliance of all internal and regulatory related policies. Ensure the implementation of appropriate systems and operational processes to measure and manage KPIs and profitability.

Skills and Experience

•    Good understanding of the dynamics of the financial services market with particular emphasis on mutual funds.
•    Strategic orientation and aptitude
•    Experience in product management 
•    Well-developed project management skills

•    NISM-Series-V-A: Mutual Fund Distributors Certification Examination
•    NISM-Series-XXI-A: Portfolio Management Services (PMS) Distributors Certification Examination
