Job Summary

• Holds relevant product knowledge on LAP and Term Loans
• Executes products policies and process
• Develop and introduce new products to increase overall business profitability
• Good knowledge of the selected market and customer segments would be an advantage
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes

Strategy
•    Develop and execute the Product strategy 
•    Identifying key opportunities and market segments for expansion
•    Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
•    Increase Wallet-share and Drive cross-sell

Business
•    Lead the sales team to achieve new business volume, revenue and profit targets, managing the complete sales cycle from lead generation to loan closure
•    Ensure a robust pipeline of high-quality leads and prospects, leveraging existing customer relationships and new business channels
•    Monitor and report on sales performance

Processes
•    Drive cross-functional collaboration 
•    Implement best practices in sales pipeline management and customer onboarding to increase conversion rates and minimize delays
•    Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of sales processes and ensure continuous improvement

Risk Management
•    Ensure that the processes are adhered to, mitigating the risk of bad debts, fraud, and defaults 
•    Monitor and analyze risk metrics and take proactive steps to address any emerging risks.

Governance
•    Uphold the highest standards of governance, ensuring transparency, fairness, and accountability in all dealings
•    Implement any corrective actions to address governance-related findings

Regulatory & Business Conduct 
•    Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. 
•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
•    Support SBL Business across regions to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles: [Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.] *
