Job Description: 

Job Summary

The Project & Digital Initiatives team is working on various projects on Loan Origination / Loan Management systems, Automation of various process / Automation of Reports, usage of various tools, where the Project Manager is required to deliver the following:
•    Working on various CR (driven by Regulator / SCB group / Internal process)
•    Work on multiple automation projects of SC Capital in Projects & Digital Initiatives team
•    Maintains company’s effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plan for implementing new technologies / changes or enhancements required in existing systems / process
•    He/she should be willing to learn the various Loan products offered by SC Capital, SC Capital internal loan applications
•    Need to have good technical knowhow so that co-ordination with various Technology teams across SCB groups teams

Key Responsibilities

•    Coordinate with Multi-functional Teams, Internal SCB Group teams for the requirements prospectives
•    Liaise between stakeholders - business, vendors, group teams, SC Capital teams, advisory and implementation partners / vendors to understand scope of project finalising requirements / BRD / FSD etc.
•    Liaise with Technology teams to understand challenges / resolution to issues / bugs, should have good technical knowhow
•    Preparation of Problem statement / mapping grids for Automation of reports
•    Automate and streamline the process of generating reports to reduce manual efforts, improve accuracy and efficiency ensuring data consistency

•    Implementation of SC Capital Responsibilities that are related to the development and implementation of a strategy, for example, Awareness and understanding of the Group’s business strategy and model appropriate to the role.

Business
•    Responsibilities related to the delivery of business and / or financial objectives, for example, Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the Group operates 

Processes
•    Reference the processes for which the Role Holder is responsible, as per the Operational Risk Framework definition of first / second line, for example, Responsible for executing various Projects

People & Talent 
•    Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from their team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.
•    Ensure the provision of ongoing training and development of people, and ensure that holders of all critical functions are suitably skilled and qualified for their roles ensuring that they have effective supervision in place to mitigate any risks.
•    Employ, engage and retain high quality people, with succession planning for critical roles.
•    Responsibility to review team structure/capacity plans.
•    Set and monitor job descriptions and objectives for direct reports and provide feedback and rewards in line with their performance against those responsibilities and objectives.

Risk Management
•    Responsibilities relating to identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks to the Group, as well as an awareness and understanding of the main risks facing the Group and the role the individual plays in managing them. For example -The ability to interpret the Group’s financial information, identify key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures

Governance 
•    Responsibilities relating to the direction, planning, structure, frameworks (e.g. processes and policies) and oversight. For example, Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of the Group’s arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls in the business and, if necessary, oversee changes in these areas; Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

Regulatory & Business Conduct 
•    Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. 
•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
•    Lead the various Projects of SC Capital in order  to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles: In order where SCCL complies with SCB Group & Regulatory requirements 
•    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Key stakeholders
•    Managing various stakeholders in SC Capital like, Compliance, Business, CDD, Credit, Operations, P&G teams to drive various automation projects
Other Responsibilities
•    Embed Here for good and Group’s brand and values in SC Capital Project team; Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures; Multiple functions (double hats); as per requirements

Skills and Experience

•    B.E. / MCA / MBA with minimum 5-8 years of relevant working experience in the Project Management, good technical knowhow along with knowledge of Python & Power Bi tools
•    Having data quality skills like Data Profiling, Data Discovery, Root cause analysis
•    Extremely meticulous in approach to work.

Role Specific Technical Competencies

•    Experience in understanding large customer datasets, sorting & formatting data as received from various Bank systems
•    Knowledge and understanding of Jira / any other project management tracking tools
•    Technical knowhow of various Loan Management systems for Bugs resolution, / understanding of various CR items
•    Understanding of Python, Power BI tools
•    Ability to Liaison with various Internal stakeholders 

Qualifications

•    Technical certificates that cover programming languages like: Python, SQL, Django, Rest API, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Advanced Excel, macros, specifically in the area of Loan / Asset products in Bank / NBFC
