Central to your mission will be fostering a culture of compliance and ethical business practices, promoting the Group Code of Conduct and Here for good values. A vital aspect of your role will be to anticipate regulatory risks, communicating identified trends to management for effective control implementations. Collaborative engagement with compliance specialists and regulators will keep both the business and regulatory bodies well-informed of operational developments and compliance status.
You will also oversee the customer complaints unit, ensuring processes and systems align with Customer Rights instructions, thereby reinforcing the Bank's commitment to customer-centric service and regulatory compliance.

You will also establish and sustain a trusting relationship with regulators by following a strategically designed Regulatory Relationship Plan, conducting regular briefings, and ensuring regulatory commitments are met.
Preparation and coordination for regulatory inspections will be a regular duty, ensuring swift and effective responses. You will oversee the governance and implementation of CFCC policies, provide expert advice on regulatory and Group standards compliance, and remain vigilant on evolving regulatory landscapes to pre-emptively manage impacts on the Bank's operations.
