Job Summary
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, including Banks, Broker Dealers, Agency, Private Banks, Central Banks, PSDO, and Proprietary Trading Firms.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and revenue goals by effectively selling macro products such as FX, Rates, Options, Credit, and Commodities.
- Identify and cultivate prospective accounts with the goal of growing the Macro Flow Wallet share.
- Lead and manage the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into the bank’s systems and services.
- Implement strategies to retain existing clients by regularly assessing their needs and providing tailored solutions across all macro flow markets & products.
- Proactively Identify and pursue new business opportunities within BBD community to expand the client base
- Awareness and understanding of the Group's business strategy and model appropriate to the role.
- Monitor the utilization of each customer’s trading limits with SCB, obtain specific approval for any excess likely to arise because of a particular transaction and make an appropriate recommendation to CIB where a higher limit may lead to additional profitable business.
- Adherence to all Group Policies and relevant legislation covering credit, operational, reputational risk among others.

- Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of the Group's arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight, and controls in the business and, if necessary, oversee changes in these areas
- Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
- Willingness to `speak up' in the event of any realised or perceived breach of group conduct rules or laws by colleagues.
- Willingness to work with any local regulators in an open and cooperative manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new macro flow business opportunities across the Americas BBD Client base.
- Develop strategic partnerships with other financial institutions, industry bodies, and technology providers to enhance the bank’s market position.
- Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the Group operates.
- Obtain client/prospect connectivity & penetration through introductions and/or cold calls to make a persuasive business case for the use of SCB products and services in preference to current sources.
- To establish and maintain high level contacts with current and target customers through sales calls, entertainment, and visits, to develop relationships and gain insight into their future and needs.
- Liaise with product traders to analyse the acceptance ratio for quotations provided to each customer, alongside feedback from the customer concerning competing quotations accepted in preference to SCB's, in order that the traders may factor this information into their pricing decisions.

Skills and Experience
- Strong analytical skills to assess market conditions and client needs
- Expertise in fixed income, currencies, Rates, Derivatives, and commodities (FICC) markets
- Deep understanding of macroeconomic trends and their impact on financial markets.
- In-depth knowledge of financial products, including Derivatives, FX Options, Rates, bonds, and structured products
- Ability to explain complex financial products and strategies to client
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the financial industry.
Qualifications
2 - 4 years of Market Sales experience covering institutional clients across fixed income products

Expected annual base pay range for the role is 142,800 USD to 178,500 USD. The final offer will be determined on an individualised basis using a number of variables, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience and education, internal relativity, and specific work location. At Standard Chartered Bank, Base pay is only part of the total compensation package.
