Job Summary

We are looking for a Banking Team Assistant to support our Markets team. Banking Team Assistant is responsible for efficiently and effectively providing all administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth day to day operations within the Markets team, by delivering a consistently high level of support and service to benefit key stakeholders, both externally and internally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings and coordinate travel arrangements for the Desk Heads and wider teams. 
  • Act as a point of contact between internal / external stakeholders 
  • Coordinate team activities, such as training sessions, events, etc.
  • Manage and monitor deadlines for projects or deliverables in collaboration with team members. 
  • Ensure office equipment is functional and coordinate with IT for support.
  • Organize and maintain files, records and documentation.
  • Support with on-boarding of new joiners, transfers and off-boarding of leavers.
  • Coordinating with Accounts Payable, Global Sourcing, IT, to ensure smooth running of the processes.
  • Circulating policies, procedure and relevant communication to the teams.
  • Perform general administrative tasks and handle ad hoc requests.
  • Coordinate and book travel arrangements including flights, accommodation, using the bank approved vendor as per policy and procedures.
  • Process Expenses for the team members in a timely fashion as per policy and procedure
  • Maintain records for expenses.
  • Vetting and adding new vendors to the vendor management system.
  • Processing all invoices and assuring that they are paid in a timely manner.
  • Sending hard copy of processed invoices to accounts payable.

Expected annual base pay range for the role is 80,000 USD - 105,000 USD. The final offer will be determined on an individualised basis using a number of variables, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience and education, internal relativity, and specific work location. At Standard Chartered Bank, Base pay is only part of the total compensation package.
