Job Summary
Responsible for oversight over the risk and operational aspects of the Americas Regional eFX trading team.
• Ensuring team:
- Monitoring operation of ARM system and make pricing changes / trade as required in order to effectively manage risk;
- Monitor, analyse and tune strategies & manage pricing across defined trading tiers;
- Responsible for risk in a real-time production trading environment;
- Understand client segmentation and client flow and take this into account in the creation of strategies; and
- Using historical client and market data, recommend & gain consensus agreement from senior stakeholders in order to makes changes to client pricing, risk within ARM and execution.
• Identify opportunities to grow the business balancing short- and long-term goals of the group.
• Lead work with Development on Product support through present issues. Including problem identifications and resolution.
• Work collaboratively with key stake holders and partners across the bank. Develop a healthy profile externally as a representative of the bank.
• Maximise total product income by ensuring effective end-to-end client risk management/service.
• Awareness and understanding of the Group's business strategy and model appropriate to the role.• Achieve assigned full-year budget as set forth in the annual P3 and scorecard;
• Increase SCB's visibility through competitive pricing for our clients;
• To deepen existing client relationships through regular conversations and by giving market colour and to work with Sales and RMs to identify new prospects and client opportunities;
• Provide the sales desk with competitive pricing and product support in our endeavour to outserve;
• To explore new products and structures to increase the breadth and depth of the market; and
• Manage risk from client trades.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure adherence to all internal and external regulations
• To embed Operational Risk monitoring as an integral part of the business process
• To the above end, to effectively carry out the assigned role, if any, under Compliance Risk Management and Operational Risk Management Assurance
• Ensure that the business meets its obligations the prevention of money laundering under the Group Policy and Standards and under local laws and regulations
• Ensure that there are appropriate and documented internal controls and procedures in place
• Monitor the operation of such procedures and controls and regularly review them to ensure that they reflect any changes in products, systems, policy and regulations

Expected annual base pay range for the role is 256,000 USD to 416,000 USD. The final offer will be determined on an individualised basis using a number of variables, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience and education, internal relativity, and specific work location. At Standard Chartered Bank, Base pay is only part of the total compensation package.
