DUTIES: Accountable for delivery of Loan Agency Operations (LA Ops) transactions including transaction processing, financial reconciliation, risk identification and resolution, maintenance of operational risk controls and client service. Identify and support strategy to streamline processes, enhance productivity, reduce risk, and improve controls. Deliver a robust control environment which mitigates the risk of loss and safeguards the Banks assets. Ensure the client experience is seamless based on efficient processing, and timely resolution of client exceptions. Process transactions in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure all policies and processes follow the DOI, ORF, R & Rs, Policies and Standards in the bank. Deliver quality, risk management, efficiency and effectiveness as per agreed standards & metrics. Support various stakeholders on regulatory and audit requests. Act as a point of escalation for stakeholders and the team. Act quickly and decisively when any risk and control weakness become apparent and ensure they are addressed within an appropriate timeframe and escalated through the relevant committees in line with the bank’s policies. Ensure operational incidents (losses or near misses) and client complaints are logged in accordance with relevant policies. Ensure root causes reports relating to operational incidents are completed in line with the Banks policies including meeting of all reporting timelines. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Standard Chartered Bank policy
REQTS: Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related position. Employer will accept three (3) years of university-level study plus two (2) years of experience in meeting the Bachelor's degree requirement. Must have two (2) years of experience with: Lending products, including subscription finance industry experience; Handling ACBS loan booking and maintenance; Working with internal and external counterparties, including clients, legal counsels, peer banks, and investors; Practicing Operational Risk Management and Compliance to ensure the risk in the process is duly managed and compliance regulations are adhered; Reconciliating deals processed and identifying breaks daily as part of the end to end process; Understanding of financing and capital market products, including trade financing and hedging instruments to review facility agreements and monitor execution by the borrower and lenders; Handling day to day business of agency by utilizing SWIFT messages and managing payments between borrower and lenders.

SALARY: $ 127,200 - $145,063/year. The final offer will be determined on an individualised basis using a number of variables, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience and education, internal relativity, and specific work location. At Standard Chartered Bank, Base pay is only part of the total compensation package.
