Key Responsibilities

Support the development and implementation of AI-driven, automation, and analytics solutions that improve process efficiency, reduce manual effort, enhance data quality, and provide actionable business insights. Work closely with business teams to identify automation opportunities and develop practical solutions using AI and low-code technologies.

Strategy
•    Support the team's Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, and digital transformation agenda.
•    Identify opportunities to leverage AI, Generative AI (GenAI), and automation technologies to improve process efficiency and controls.
•    Research emerging AI capabilities and recommend practical use cases for financial operations and control functions.
•    Contribute to innovation initiatives, Proofs of Concept (POCs), and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) to demonstrate business value.

Business
•    Develop an understanding of Financial Control, reporting, reconciliation, and operational processes within the Bank.
•    Partner with stakeholders to understand process pain points, manual activities, data challenges, and improvement opportunities.
•    Support the translation of business requirements into AI-enabled and automation solutions.
•    Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance process effectiveness, data quality, and operational efficiency.

Processes
•    Develop and support AI-driven automation solutions using Power Platform, AI Builder, Copilot Studio, Python, SQL, and Excel-based automation.
•    Build Power Automate workflows, Power Apps solutions, and Power BI dashboards to improve process visibility and efficiency.
•    Create and support AI use cases leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) capabilities.

•    Extract, cleanse, transform, validate, and analyse data using SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), Power Query, and other analytical tools.
•    Develop automated reporting and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions to reduce manual effort.
•    Support process mapping, business requirement gathering, solution testing, deployment, and user adoption activities.
•    Automate repetitive reporting, reconciliation, and spreadsheet-based processes to improve productivity and reduce operational risk.
•    Ensure data quality, validation, reconciliation, and documentation standards are maintained across all solutions.

People & Talent
•    Collaborate effectively with colleagues across Process Excellence, Finance, Technology, Data, and Operations teams.
•    Demonstrate strong learning agility and continuously build knowledge in AI, analytics, automation, and emerging technologies.
•    Share knowledge, reusable solutions, and best practices across the team.
•    Support a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and problem-solving.

Risk Management
•    Apply appropriate controls, validation checks, exception handling, and auditability within automation solutions.
•    Identify and escalate risks relating to data quality, AI usage, automation governance, information security, and control effectiveness.
•    Ensure developed solutions comply with Group standards, policies, and risk management requirements.
•    Support monitoring and resolution of issues related to automation performance and data integrity.

Governance
•    Monitor and ensure that appropriate Change governance is followed across all transformation initiatives. Represent the function at the governance forums in place for tracking change initiatives and influence decisions in respect of the change backlog, prioritisation, choice of technology tools and the operating model.

Regulatory & Business Conduct
•    Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
•    Take personal responsibility for maintaining the highest standards of ethics, regulatory compliance, and business conduct.
•    Understand and comply with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and governance requirements.

Other Responsibilities
•    Support AI adoption, innovation, and automation initiatives across the Process Excellence function.
•    Maintain documentation for requirements, solution design, testing, deployment, and support activities.
•    Participate in training, knowledge-sharing sessions, and continuous improvement programmes.
•    Perform responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business, or Functional policies and procedures.
•    Support special projects, process reviews, and transformation initiatives as required.
•    Contribute to identifying and delivering measurable efficiency gains, cost savings, and risk reduction opportunities through AI and automation.

Qualifications

•    MBA / Engineering
•    Any of the below certification or equivalent
•    Microsoft 365 certified: Copilot and Agent Certification
•    DP-700 – Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate
•    DP-600 – Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate PL-300 – Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
