Job Summary

Are you ready to take the next step in client-facing support within our CCIB business? We are looking for a highly motivated Assistant Relationship Banker to partner closely with the Senior Banker/Banker to support a portfolio of Iberian Corporate clients and prospects. This dynamic role plays a pivotal part in originating new business and managing existing client relationships with direct accountability for client revenues and profitability.

 

As an ARB, you will contribute meaningfully across origination, execution, client strategy, and risk management in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in all phases of new business origination: client research, pitch book development, market and industry trend analysis.
  • Support client meeting preparations, including briefing notes, logistics, and documentation.
  • Coordinate closely with Product Sales, Client Management, and the Bank’s global network to ensure exceptional execution quality and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Participate in pricing analysis, deal returns calculations, and post-deal client revenue review.
  • Support the Account Planning process including strategic deep-dives and follow-up execution.
  • Track and manage deal pipelines and call reports (CRMx) in alignment with sales governance expectations.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure effective product penetration and revenue realization.
  • Help manage client profitability, ensuring data accuracy and proactive action where needed.
  • Provide execution support on complex transactions: documentation, negotiation, drawdowns, fee booking, and revenue tracking.
  • Monitor post-deal activities and ensure all conditions are met and documented properly.
  • Work with Credit Analysts to support credit reviews and ongoing monitoring activities.
  • Help identify Early Alert clients and collaborate during periods of credit stress or volatility.
  • Ensure compliance with internal governance frameworks and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Education    
•    Bachelor degree in Banking, Economics, Finance or Accounting preferred. 
•    Ideally 2-3+ years experience in banking or financial services.
