Job Summary

The ARB provides direct sales support to the Senior Banker/Banker to originate new business and in partnership with the Senior Banker/Banker is jointly accountable for client revenues/profitability. The ARB will support a portfolio of Italian and French Corporate clients (and prospects). 
New Full Time ARB will replace one of the existing ARB who is moving role internally, and will work on a portfolio of Large French Corporate clients. 

 

Key Responsibilities

- Provide proactive support to the Senior Banker/Banker in transactional activities related to new business origination, such as client research, pitch book creation, and industry lead generation, while coordinating with network and product teams.
- Conduct client analysis and reporting on post-origination activities, document client meetings, and prepare briefing notes.
- Assist the Senior Banker/Banker in sales discipline tasks, including account planning, pipeline management, client call reports, and preparing deal approval submissions.
- Support new transaction processes by aiding deal execution, negotiating documents, coordinating with Product Sales and Client Management on documentation, deal drawdown, fee booking, and revenue recognition.
- Proactively manage the portfolio by engaging with clients and product partners to monitor limit utilization and ensure revenue and return accuracy
- Provide direct sales support to the Senior Banker/Banker for all origination activities within the assigned ARB client portfolio.
- Collaborate with the Senior Banker/Banker to share accountability for client revenues and profitability through comprehensive origination support.
- Assist with client research and meeting preparation, including pitch book development and industry trend analysis, ensuring client materials are high quality and client-focused by coordinating with product teams and key stakeholders.
- Perform tailored client analyses, including competitor assessments highlighting SCB’s value proposition, and complete relevant post-origination reporting and client meeting documentation.      - Coordinate with Product Sales and the network to support deal returns calculations and pricing analysis.
- Ensure compliance with sales discipline requirements by supporting the Senior Banker/Banker in account planning, deal pipeline management, and call report administration as agreed.
- Prepare client meetings by drafting briefing notes, coordinating internal discussions, and managing logistics in partnership with the Banker.

Skills and Experience

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with experience in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent research, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of corporate banking products, risk management, and financial markets.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Education      Masters Level OR MBA
  • Languages     English, French (is a plus)
  • 3-5 years of experience in corporate banking, financial analysis, or a related field.
