Job Summary

We are currently looking for Business Manager, Markets to join our office in Paris.  In this role you will  support the Markets Business Heads in executing Markets AG strategy, implementing business initiatives, helping ensure adherence to regulations and policies and provide risk & governance related support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with AG Markets Head as well as Sales and Trading Heads to help define and implement strategic business plans. Act as a right hand to senior executives, preparing reports, presentations and strategic briefs.
  • Support transformation initiatives (e.g. digitalization, new tools, reorganisation), coordinate implementation of regulatory projects or efficiency programs, and serves as central point of contact for cross-functional initiatives
  • Track KPIs (revenues & returns, costs, client growth, and key risk parameters), analyze business performance against targets, and prepares regular dashboards and report for top management.
  • Provide key support to enable business to operate more effectively. Remove barriers, improve efficiency and enhance capabilities so that teams and individuals can focus on delivering value to clients. 

Skills and Experience

  • Min. 6 years of relevant experience in a similar position in the financial industry
  • Education - University Degree (Finance/Banking preferrable)
  • Strong understanding of Risk Management (with the focus on Operational Risk), Internal Controls and Regulatory Environment
  • Project management skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Proven excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to identify and drive opportunities for continuous improvement
