Title: Director, International Corporates

Job Summary:
As Director, International Corporates, you will focus on developing the Italian Corporates market across various sectors (Luxury, Utilities, Energy, Metals). You will manage and onboard clients autonomously while supporting Senior Bankers in business origination and ensuring client profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate new business through client research, pitch preparation, and industry analysis.
- Manage client onboarding and build long-term relationships.
- Support account planning, pipeline maintenance, and deal execution.
- Provide client and market analysis, and prepare high-quality briefing notes.
- Ensure compliance with sales discipline, governance, and risk management standards.
- Collaborate with Product Partners and internal stakeholders to drive cross-sell opportunities.
- Provide direct sales support to the Senior Banker/Banker on all origination activities for the assigned RM client portfolio.
- Proactive assistance to the Senior Banker/Banker with transactional support on client research and meeting preparation/documentation ie pitch book preparation, research into industry trends etc; coordinating with product and other key stakeholders across the network to ensure client materials are of the highest quality and client focused
- Client meeting preparation and execution including logistics if attending client meetings in partnership with the Banker
- Prepare high-quality structured Briefing notes for Senior management engagement. Liaise with Senior Management teams to ensure preparedness
- Proactively follow up on Southern Europe Business /Economic markets events related to the portfolio
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Banking or Finance (preferred).
- 5–10 years of banking experience with knowledge of Italian markets.
- Fluency in English, Italian, and ideally French.
- Strong client relationship, analytical, and deal management skills.
