JOB SUMMARY
Among the list of large France, Benelux, Iberia and Greece Corporates, the role will assist the team in charge of the following tasks:
•    Financial analysis of covered clients
•    Prepare credit papers to present various financing opportunities to local committees and calculation of deals’ profitability
•    Assist in timely review of Know Your Customer documents to ensure the appropriate risk is calculated and measured per relationship
•    Prepare and coordinate pitches and marketing presentations for Corporate clients on various subjects
•    Prepare client notes ahead of meetings to the bankers
•    Punctual sector-based analysis and weekly review of sector news
•    Support the development of client relationships in relation with Standard Chartered network (mainly in Asia, Africa & Middle East and US)
•    Interaction with product teams based in Paris, Frankfurt, London, New York, Hong Kong and Singapore (Debt Capital Market, Global Markets, Project Finance, Loan Syndication, Transaction Banking, etc).
•    Assist senior bankers with intelligence & research in the normal course of business
•    Support the preparation of revenue reports and internal presentations\

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy
•    Support Team in driving continuous improvement of the operational efficiency and effectiveness of processes to increase the consistency of systems and processes

Business
•    Provide support in the Corporate Investment Banking products (corporate finance, capital markets, structured finance, financial markets, transaction banking, project finance)
•    Assist in refinancing strategy of major Corporate clients 

Processes
•    Financial analysis of covered clients.
•    Support team by preparing client notes ahead of meetings to the bankers.
•    Engage and interact with product teams based in Paris, London, New-York, Hong-Kong and Singapore (Debt Capital Market, Global Markets, Project Finance, Loan Syndication, Transaction Banking…).

People & Talent
•    Develop and implement a personal learning plan with team manager, to attain necessary competencies.
•    Successfully complete milestones as laid out in implemented personal learning plan.

Risk Management
•    Assist in timely review of Know Your Customer documents to ensure the appropriate risk is calculated and measured per relationship.

Governance
•    Ensure strong due diligence on document safekeeping and data confidentiality.
•    Ensure correctness of documentation prior to any dispensation from the Bank.
•    Ensure compliance with the internal policies and credit policies, external policies, regulatory and statutory requirements.

Qualification
•    Education     Student, BAC+4/5 in finance, economics, business or engineering degree from a business school or university
