About the Role
Join the Development & Agency Finance (DAF) team in Paris and gain hands-on experience supporting the origination and execution of Project & Export Finance transactions across Europe. You will work closely with experienced professionals and gain exposure to export credit agencies, development finance institutions, project sponsors, exporters, and multinational clients.

Key Responsibilities
Business & Transaction Support
- Support the team in identifying and researching new business opportunities in Project & Export Finance.
- Assist with the origination, marketing, and execution of financing transactions involving European sponsors, borrowers, and exporters.
- Conduct market, industry, and company research to support business development activities.
- Prepare client presentations, briefing materials, and marketing documents.
- Support transaction teams with financial analysis and due diligence activities.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Assist in maintaining relationships with Export Credit Agencies (ECAs), Development Finance Institutions (DFIs), and Multilateral Development Banks.
- Support the team in coordinating with internal stakeholders across Coverage, Credit, Risk, Treasury, and Transaction Banking.
- Participate in client meetings and internal discussions where appropriate.
Financial Analysis & Modelling
- Assist in building and reviewing financial models.
- Analyze financial statements, business performance, and project risks.
- Support the preparation of internal credit and transaction approval materials.
- Conduct research on industry trends, financing structures, and risk mitigation solutions.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Support compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in preparing and organizing transaction documentation.
- Help ensure accurate record keeping and high-quality deal execution processes.
Skills & Experience
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Interest in project finance, export finance, and structured lending.
- Financial modelling and financial analysis skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong academic track record from a leading university or business school.
- Fluency in English and French is required.
- Previous internship experience in banking, corporate finance, consulting, or investment-related fields is advantageous.
