Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Intern to join our Debt Capital Markets (DCM) Investment Grade team, supporting our corporate DCM business in London and Paris. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain exposure to the origination and execution of DCM transactions for EU-based corporations, with additional focus on key investor bases in the US and Asia. You will assist with the preparation of pitch materials, market updates, trade ideas, and pricing indications while working closely with cross-functional teams across Capital Markets, Financial Markets sales, Syndicate, Structuring, Legal, M&A, and Ratings Advisory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the team in day-to-day activities, including the production of pitch books, pricing indications, and client presentations.
  • Conduct market research and monitor macroeconomic, fiscal, and currency developments to provide timely market intelligence.
  • Contribute to the development of trade ideas and business strategy for EU-based corporate clients.
  • Engage proactively with internal teams across different regions to ensure seamless communication and execution of transactions.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing client market updates and transaction materials in line with legal and compliance requirements.
  • Help build and strengthen the bank’s Financial Markets franchise with a focus on EU clients.

 

Skills

  • Currently pursuing a BAC+4/5 degree (Master’s level) in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or related fields from a leading French Grande École de Commerce or University.
  • Fluency in English required; French proficiency is a plus.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills; proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and effective time management.
  • Highly motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in an international/multicultural team environment.
  • Previous internship or exposure to investment banking is a plus.
