Job Summary
The Priority Mortgage Relationship Manager will to join our Personal Banking Mortgages Team in Petaling Jaya Office, the job holder is responsible for driving mortgage sales growth by acquiring new customers and deepening relationships with existing clients, also to involves actively prospecting for potential customers, providing comprehensive financial advice, and ensuring a seamless customer experience throughout the mortgage application process

Our investment focuses on affluent frontline teams, wealth and digital platforms, and client centres, as well as brand and marketing, to drive growth. You’ll join a growing franchise within Standard Chartered Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed monthly mortgage sales targets, onboard affluent clients, and cross sell home insurance loan which is MRTA (Mortgage Reducing Term Assurance) and MRTT (Mortgage Reducing Term Takaful).
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through alliance tie-ups such as real estate agents, mortgage brokers, developers & lawyers.
- Conduct financial needs analysis to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable mortgage products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, real estate agents, and developers.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and regulatory changes in the mortgage industry.
- Adhere to bank policies and procedures related to mortgage sales and lending
Skills and Experience
- Possess minimum Diploma.
- Minimum of two years of experience in sales, preferably in the banking or financial industry.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of mortgage products and the property market is an added advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build strong customer relationships.
- Possess a valid driving license as the role requires travelling.
