Job Summary

 

The Quality Analyst plays a key role in safeguarding service quality, operational effectiveness, and control robustness within Price Solutions MY. The role focuses on monitoring and reviewing processes, assessing compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements, and supporting continuous improvement to reduce operational and conduct risk.

 

The role is also required to support the sales support team in terms of client engagement and application verification. You will collaborate closely with operations, risk, and governance teams to identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and promote a strong quality and risk culture.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Engage with both New to Bank (NTB) and Existing to Bank/Card (ETB) clients to ensure smooth and timely processing of applications by managing document follow-ups, data verification, and system uploads.
  • Identify and drive process streamlining and reduction of hand‑offs to prevent control failures and mitigate operational risk.
  • Perform monthly call monitoring reviews and clean desk checks, ensuring adherence to quality, GPS/RBORF guidelines and information security standards.
  • Review and monitor DOIs and SWIs to ensure alignment with GPS, ORF, MPD, MAS and applicable local regulations, and verify that key controls (segregation of duties, maker–checker, departmental independence) operate effectively.
  • Provide coaching and constructive feedback (CEPG, process changes, governance, client experience) to uplift team performance and control awareness.
  • Support the facilitation and execution of KCS, CST, and Health Checks, and identify emerging process risks and failures through quality reviews.
  • Report process abnormalities and non‑adherence, and coordinate or escalate timely remedial and risk‑mitigation actions in line with governance and escalation protocols.
  • Uphold Group Values, Code of Conduct, and regulatory requirements by proactively identifying, escalating, mitigating and resolving risk, conduct and compliance matters.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Degree or diploma in Business, Finance, Operations, Risk Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in banking operations, quality assurance/quality control, operational risk, or process governance is preferred.
  • Familiarity with quality review methodologies, control testing (e.g. CST), and key control standards is an advantage.
  • Understanding of relevant regulatory requirements (e.g. MAS and local regulations) is beneficial.
  • Strong attention to detail and a quality- and control-focused mindset.
  • Good understanding of operational processes and associated risks.
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies, frameworks, and standard operating procedures.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills.
  • Effective communication and coaching skills, with the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback.

 

Skills and Experience

Technical Competency Name:
•    Proficient in Microsoft Excel/PPT/Word; comfortable with support function task - processing/reviewing

Technical Competency Level:
•    Preferably intermediate level and above; entry level also acceptable
